i just signed up, have never done a live online draft, if we pre rank players do we have to still be ther or will if just default to list when it is our pick, i think i will be away that weekend

As long as your picks are pre-ranked, it will recognize that you are'nt ther and pick for you with the best player you've ranked. In fact, I've even gotten a pretty good team just letting Yahoo pick for me from their rankings when I can't be there.
all that being said, it's much more fun to be there live, and it kind of sucks when people aren't, because then you have to wait the entire time period (90 second, i think) before it picks for you.
