The left channel on my Starmate Replay fades in but mostly goes out so I only get to hear my radio on the right channel. My problem is that this is a Christmas gift so I don't have a receipt and on top of that I bought a lifetime subscription.

Is there any way I can have it replaced without being charged for anything?

If the radio is still under warranty they will swap it out for free, if not, you have to pay 75 dollars.

What's the $75 for?

Also, if you just decide to buy a new radio yourself, you can switch the subscription over to the new radio.

The 75 dollars is the fee Sirius charges to change radios unless it's stolen or replaced under warranty. You change radios 3 times for 75 dollars for any other reason on the lifetime plan.

Yeah, if you bought it within the past year, you could get it replaced with a new one. FREE OF CHARGE.

In a worst case of scenario would be if they only offer to fix it rather than replace it. And you'll be w/o your radio for a few days.

Still, free of charge.

Unless you stole that unit. :D

Sweet! What is the best/quickest phone number to reach them at for a replacement?

My starmate died a few months ago and it was pure hell trying to get a new one. I got it at best buy, and the screen only lit up half way. I tried to take it back to Best Buy, and they told me they wouldn't take it back because of "abuse"....wtf??? I didn't abuse shit...the receiver was a piece of shit. Anyway I called Sirius and they told me they would be able to send me ONLY a refurbished one, and it would take up to 6 months because they were on back order. Eventually I got my uncle involved, who is fucking huge. He went into Best Buy and threw a huge fit..then they gave him the money back and I ordered a Starmate from Sirius.com

But yeah...if your going to run into the problems I did...good luck my friend. It will be hell. If you actually get a new one, at least you can say you've been through hell and back.
