High Pitch Eric challenged Artie Lange to a treadmill endurance competition and invited me and Dan the Song Parody Man to tag along. I drove up the night before and crashed at Dan's place. In the car, it started hitting me about what we were doing in the morning, and I was really excited. Eric wanted me to be his security. It was my job to make sure that Drunk Jamie didn't try to hit him with any fish. He was going to be at the studio too with Sean & Beetle plugging their new billboard. Who knows who the other guests would be and who else we might meet.

We got up at 4:45 and drove into Manhatten. We picked up a box of twinkies and a six pack of Heinekin so we could feed Eric while on the treadmill so he didn't waste away to nothing. We were under the impression that Eric & Artie would be doing a fast walk on the treadmills in the background as Howard went on with the show and checked back for updates like he did with the orgasm chick. Rev Bob Levy suggested that we get a couple sticks and some rope to hang a bottle of Jack in front of Artie and a sandwhich in front of Eric. Dan just wanted to hold a big fish behind Eric to motivate him to keep going. :) Whatever happened, it was going to be fun. If all we did was sit in the Green Room, it would have been cool, but imagine if we actually hit the studio and got to feed Eric twinkies and beers while taunting Artie. It would have been huge! I know it was a pipe dream, but it wasn't 100% out of the question either.

The Howard Stern Building

We met High Pitch right out front and parked in the Howard Stern Building for $15. ( How the hell is it that John can't afford parking? ) We drove by Howard's limo on our way in. We signed in with security and hit the elevator. Eric was confident about the treadmill and said he wasn't nervous one bit. If he only knew what was in store for him. When the elevator opened, a pissed off Ronnie the Limo driver sat behind the desk and told us to have a seat. ( he probably wasn't pissed off about anything, but he looked real serious ) A cute chick came out and had us sign a discloure form. ( at least I hope thats what it was. none of us read it. Like we were going to decline signing it and go home ) Ronnie checked us with a metal detector and searched our bags. He let me bring in my laptop and my camera. :) I didn't want to take any photos until I had a better feel for what was cool and what would get me tossed. :) Sean & Beetlejuice showed up with a six of Bud pounders and we chatted with them for a little while before being escorted into the Outer Green Room, known as the Gray Room. Evidently they arrange the guests in the order that they will be appearing, and at some point we would be shuffled up to the Green Room. This just meant that Eric wouldn't be going on until later in the show, but it felt like we were in the less important guests green room to me. Eric & Sean were brought to the front Green Room so we couldn't hang with them. SHIT! I mean that sucked ass. I was all psyched about seeing Beelte again. When Rowdy Piper showed up, they put him int he front room too. We barely caught a glimpse of him through the window.

Eric & Dan in the Gray Room

A VIP from Bally's and Eric's trainer for the day showed up and gave Eric this sweet robe with his name stitched on it. They had already given him a free membership, and he's been working out every since Elliot Offen challenged him to a fight. He might be 280lbs and have a huge gut, but you'd be surprised how solid his guns are. The cute little blond Puerto rican trainer chick, was the same girl who trained Benjy for the weight loss challenge and the guy was there the day Gary gave himself an enema in the Bally's locker room. She is also a bartender at ClubNY and was really sorry she missed the Halloween Party. (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10549) She saw us down there when we were setting this up with the manager, but had off on Halloween.

HPE ready for the challenge

We couldn't really hear the show, because the volume was down really low and we didn't have a control know, so we watched the Halloween E! show with Joey's balls int he sink. Benjy stopped in to say hi to his girl. He was all surprised to see the show on the laptop, ans wanted to know how I did it. I explained it was an old show on a CD and he sighed a sigh of relief. He thought we had tapped into the studio feed somehow and was all impressed. :) He looked great. the last time I saw him was on the E! show when he was wrestling a porn chick / pro wrestler and looked horrible. Good for you Benjy, glad you took it off. He showed off his ass for us and remembered me from a brief meeting in AC. He was sincerely nice to everyone. They kept bringing Eric out into the hall of E! show interviews. Some paramedics came down and remembered meeting Eric from the Mits on a Misfit contest. They checked him out and said that his blood pressure was a little high. Not dangerously high, but not great either. He might have just been nervous. Dan brought some photos for Doug Goodstein, producer of the E! show for the Green Room. They were one of Joey's face with a pubic beard and a look of agony over the icey hot balls, and one of Eric with the Strap-on mounted to his head and one with the Strap on chick (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/media/Eric-StrapOn/20021166859720096183823.jpg) . I wish Dan would post the rest of the pics from Joey's Icey Hot experience. Anne Marie checked up on us and fixed our radio problem. Another legitimately really nice staff person.

Ronnie dropped in and grabbed a beer for Sean. Later Sean dropped by for another one, later yet for one more. He hung out for awhile and told us to come down to the Beetle Billboard. Ronnie finally came and took Eric and the 2 from Bally's to the Green Room. I don't have any more photos until Eric came back to the room. Dan and I just hung out and listen to the craziness going on in the studio. It wasn't a good appearance for Eric. By now I'm sure you know all about it. He didn't win the challenge and got caught lying about the strap-on chick. It was obvious that there wouldn't be any twinkie feeding to Eric, so I finally cracked myself a beer and had my first twinkie in 20 years. Cabbie stopped in and hung with us for a long while. He had a great story about an upcoming gig of his. I'm not sure if it's cool to talk about, so I'll won't mention it, but good for you dude. I'll leave that one for you to tell. He loved Dan's 911 remix and said he's a big fan of SFN. It was cool to finally rap with the guy. Cabbie looked fantastic and was goofin with Stuttering John about another fight. 1-800-TRIM-SPA baby!! John waved and said thanks for everything I've been doing at SFN. Cabbie told us how John is all over the site and is there all the time. He veimently denied visiting the site. "na..na..na...no I don't! I visit that other site. I....a...I..a.I really don't got there" ( I think he was refering to marksfriggin.com (http://www.marksfriggin.com) ) Cabbie kept insiting that he did. It was funny, and made me smile. John also said that the Dec13th Comedy Show (http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11081) was selling really well and should be a great time. Eric came back had a twinkie.

HPE enjoying one of lifes simple pleasures

Ronnie came by and kicked us out. This time I think he was aggravated and just wanted us out. We were in the hall chatting with John & Cabbie and Ronnie needed the room. Eric kept dialing the phone to Joey and his manager and insisting that I talk to them. I kept telling him to quit it. As we left we passed the Derward's Playboy chicks talking to Gary. We made Eric pose for a photo, but you can see all he wanted to do was get on the phone and make things right with Joey & his manager.

Eric ignoring hot chicks and wishing he could dial the phone.

We asked Ronnie for another second while Dan got a photo of me next to the KROCK sign. He wasn't happy at all.

We left and tried to figure out what the hell Eric was doing. We were supposed to meet Sean & Beetle at the billboard, but they had left along time ago and we weren't sure if they still be there when we got there. Instead we walked to the Brooklyn Diner and had breakfast. Flo doesn't work there and you aren't going to find Mel either. This place might look like a diner, but it had a Manhattan menu. No cream chipped beef, but I had a really good western omelet and a coffee. As we were finishing up the meal and ordering another round of coffee, in walked Stuttering John and Artie. ( We all though he was kidding on the treadmill when he called in a cheeseburger order. ) Arite came right over and shook my hand and said thanks for what we were doing here at SFN. We started to talk about the Dec Comedy show, when Artie noticed how sad Eric looked. The waitress was at his table and he had to go. We finished our coffee and let the guys be. Walking out I congratulated them both on the great response about their upcoming show, and told them we see them down there. They were both very cool. I shook both their hands and took off. As I was shaking John's hand I sorta remembered something on the show about him being a germ-phobic and weird about shaking hands and hoped that I didn't ruin his meal. Hopefully that was someone else. I can't remember.

The now famous Brooklyn Diner

We called Beetlejuice's limo driver and found out that they were all going to be leaving soon and we wouldn't have been able to make it to the billboard in time. :( We dropped off Eric and I brought Dan back to his place. On the way we stopped at the Bada Bing. I forget it's real name, but it's the strip club in NJ where they actually film the Sopranos. I didn't really recognize it from outside, but inside it was unmistakable, the Bada Bing. Any fan of the show, would have liked it. We had a good time pointing out things from specific episodes. Then I realized that we're in Jersey so the girls don't really strip, but in the show, the chicks are topless. I'm glad the show has choose to skip this detail about the NJ strip clubs. I wonder if they use actresses or if they use the actual girls from the club? We left after a beer and walked around back. I recognized the back door and the guardrail where Ralphie killed that one chick. cool

Satin Dolls on Route 17 in Lodi aka the Bada Bing!

It was a fun day and I'm real glad Eric invited us. Sorry things didn't go so well for ya big guy, but things will turn aroud and you'll be back on top in no time. Everyone we met down there was real happy and friendly. ( except Ronnie, but thats his job. Securtity needs to be serious. I'm sure he's just as cool as the others when he's off duty ) If not for Eric's craziness, it would have been a perfect rip even without making it to the Green Room. It was cool just to be there and see them in action.
