I still do not see Sal's outburst from two Thursdays ago on OnDemand yet. I REALLY wanted to see Fred stare him down and Sal's screaming at Robin!

It happened the same day as the Dice Clay appearance and they didn't included the outburst in either the "Best of the Week" show or the "Daily Show". The Daily show shows just Dice and the Weekly Review doesn't show Sal at all.... but it does show a 30-minute segment on Penny Crone's crying incident.

When I posted this two weeks ago, you all agreed that the arguement was ONDemand worthy and that I should be patient. But come-on Goodstein! It's been two weeks.

I bet we NEVER see that clip. And I have no clue why????

The Entertainment Weekly article even talked about Doug starting to go to editing but then coming back to watch this fight when it started up, so obviously he saw the value too. Still hasn't shown up though. :( It definitely should be made into a clip for the Staff Antics category.

Oh yeah! I forgot that they mentioned it in the EW article. I hope Goodstein got it on tape!

I went and found the snippet from the article:

"A crew from Howard TV On Demand tapes every radio broadcast, editing it down to a TV show that's ready for air in just 36 hours. Today, Andrew Dice Clay is returning to Stern's show after a nearly nine-year feud, and HTVOD's executive producer, Doug Goodstein, is planning to build the next episode around the Diceman's visit. After Dice finishes, Goodstein is about to head downtown to the HTVOD production offices to supervise the editing when he hears Stern on air summoning writer Sal ''the Stockbroker'' Governale in a peeved voice. After 13 years with Stern, Goodstein can sense when a great shouting match is imminent, and he sits back down. ''Let's stick around,'' he says. ''There's gonna be a staff fight.'' Sure enough, within minutes the germophobic Stern is ripping into Sal for using his megaphone. When Robin and Fred join in, the studio bursts into chaotic cursing. Stern sits back and smiles.

That argument and the secong one that came later when Fred almost got up and knocked Sal's face in really should be on ONDemand. Seriously. We would like a visual to that.

Maybe they are saving this for the "Sal Gets Fired" episode... ;) Maybe they are in the making of a best of Sal episode and are saving it for that, it would certainly be a great episode and I HOPE that is the reason. I can't think of many other reasons why we haven't seen it.

or more likely maybe the howard t.v. team is going to doing nothing. Is Goodstein ever going to figure that the fans don't need 100 horribly produced and edited sybian rides. The best part of the radio show is the first hour before whatever shitty "B" list celebrity is being dragged in to whore out their latest shitty movie. It's why the "gary's I want you back tape, fred's bachelor party, and Artie drunk in vegas are so popular. Because they're funny. That's what the fan's want. Humor. Not another shitty penthouse playmate who has nothing to say.

They really do need to get a better feel for what the fan's want on Howard TV. Staff Antics is arguably the best section on there, and naturally, there's hardly anything on it. The Sal-Robin-Fred fight would be perfect, as would alot of other recent fights. Maybe eventually they'll get a clue.

It's funny how we will never see the Sal outburst yet had entire episodes designated to Penny Crone crying (*which Doug stood in front of the camera the entire episode) and Richard throwing up (which doug taped himself throwing up a day later)

I guess the skit has to either be something doug wishes he thought of or was able to worm his way into.. someone please stop this madman and give the fans what they want

Sal's fight from this week can be seen at the end of the 4/3 - 4/7 Best Of Week.
