I thought it was a good piece and funny to hear an SFN poll as part of the news. I love how people hate the interns. it's not the show, it's the interns themselves. so many older members and callers get all worked up calling them lazy and ungrateful. the whole thing cracks me the hell up.

I like the show and think they give us a great behind the scenes aspect of the show. It's always great how they mix it up with Penny

Normally SFN is full of questionable fans who hate EVERYTHING, but the intern show is haaaaaarible. It's gotta be universally hated. End it.

The only saving grace of Super Fan Round Table is that sometimes whackpackers and regulars go on there and it's interesting to hear them talk about THE SHOW, but who gives a shit what the interns think or do?

only if it keeps something great from taking the slot. not sure if it needs to be on every week...perhaps they need to keep it off and only put it on once they have a build up of good topics

Why listen? Do they have anything interesting to say? Never heard the show.

I've never listened to their show, but I wouldn't vote to get rid of it. It's a great learning experience for any of them that are planning on a broadcasting career.

Do I really care if they have finals coming up or how drunk they got on the weekend or how many credits they get for interning? No, I don't.

1) They (the intern show) don't even come close to your show.
2) Best way, when threatened, is to attack the most popular show; excluding Howard's of course.
3) If I want behind the scenes, I will listen to the wrap up show or the news.

I've never listened & to be honest will never listen. Just don't care what interns have to say about anything.

I think the problem with the news is that many fans got sick of the non stop replays that we endured in the beginning. I always enjoyed the news but really like it now that it is only on twice a day. I find myself setting alerts for it so I dont miss it since it isnt replayed over and over.

I've tuned into the Intern Show several times because I thought it would be interesting. Unfortunately it was so boring I switched it off each time. Unless you're another intern I can't see why anyone would find it interesting or entertaining.

I think that the Intern Show has at its core great potential, both to give college students some actual broadcasting experience and for the interns to give us the special insights that they have about Stern and the crew.

Unfortunately, I don't think they can fulfill the latter function while they're current interns. Usually, the best revelations about Robin and Scahhhhhhhhhhhhhht and other difficult personalities have come out during the students' last week.

Who in their right mind would say something that might piss off Robin at the beginning or even the middle of the semester?

Maybe the intern show should be 50:50 current and alumni so some people can be more forthcoming.

I heard the show only once when Ronnie was on, it was good, but for sure the worst of all the shows. I don't think it should be canceled but it would be the last show i would pick to listen to, if I had a choice. But that's because I am a 42 year old loser with no life and I am jealous of Steve.

It has nothing to do with jealousy. The intern show just sucks and Steve the Intern is annoying as all fuck. i guess they can play the show in the middle of the night when most people aren't listening. Then the interns can have their practice broadcasting but nobody has to listen.

I've never even bothered! Robin says it sucks too. Honestly I stink to the Replays and listen to OutQ when he's not on.

The show if filled with kids who are not ready for broadcast radio. Fact is once you've had a season of the intern show, I cant imagine a new crop will add anything new.

I am an undergraduate Business Management major. I have NO fucking clue how those interns got the job. ABSOLUTELY no clue. I understand why the girls get the jobs (I suppose...but there are hotter, more talented interns out there), but the guys are freaking idiots. I would die for a job like that, and they seem completely ungrateful.

Most importantly, they seem pretty naive about the show in general. These are not Stern fans. They are using the show as a stepping stone. Just a bunch of mini-Stuttering Johns...without the stutter.
