...are the wildcard of the NBA Playoffs...

since Artest came here, the team plays Defense, which always wins titles.

not to mention blowing out the Spurs on their home court last week.

taking a gamble and throwing the dice :D

i'd agree with this, i think Artest can help push them past the Spurs. Duncan is weak right now and probably will have atleast 2 good games but not enough energy to keep it up. Artest can shut down Ginobli a.k.a. playoff maniac. Switch up hart playing D on parker to tire him out and Bibby coming in to bomb it up, they gotta good chance. They would be too tired then next round though.

They also need Martin to step up too.

I'm so happy as a Sun's fan that the Kings have to play San Antonio in the first round .. had the Lakers lost to Phoenix , the Suns would end up having to play Sacramento in the first round , which would be scary cause The Kings have been killing the Suns and the Kings are one of the NBA's hottest teams right now .. Now I can watch Sacramento lose in the first round... ha ha

Lakers are one of the hottest teams right now. 10-3 in their last 13 games.

Yeah on purpose so the Suns dont have to play the Kings in the first round .. They wanted LA to clinch that 7 spot cause the Suns havent done too good against the Kings this season

Then that is a pussy move that should be investigated by the NBA and the entire franchise should be fined.

BTW. I like how we've totally crow barred this Kings thread with Laker/Suns talk.

Who cares about the Lakers/Suns talk , at least it keeps the sport threads moving, no one ever posts in sport threads..By the way , if Sacramento had clinched the 7 spot then they might have had a chance getting to the 2n round of the play offs..too bad they have to play the Spurs..

GO KINGS! The west will be wild this year.

Kings are doing really good right now and for some reason they always beat the Phoenix Suns or play a good game againts them the Ron Artest trade was well worth it, I thought it was insane to trade Peja for Ron Artest but it turned out to benifit the Kings.

I knew it would help the kings cause they had no defense. All Peja did was stand at the arc and shoot 3's, that can only get you so far, especially with just one guy doing it. Which is why the Suns are so good, because 4/5 guys on the floor almost all the time are hitting 3's like there's no tomorrow. Kings will beat the Spurs and be too tired for the Mavs in the next round seeing how the Kings are going to play their hearts out so they can say they beat the number 1 team in the west. Then they would have to transition to the Mavs decently high tempo offense, aint happening. Lakers are gonna be out first round, they still dont have what it takes, it's not a new concept for a team losing on purpose at this point retard, so quit bitching. If anything say "good, im glad they want to play the Lakers, so that way we can demolish them", or some lame shit like that. I'm a huge Suns fan, but I am also realistic about this, i'm not even sure if the Suns can make it to the Finals this year, but since the Spurs and Mavs have to play each other, or the potential chance then it makes things easier for the Suns. The next round will be Kings v Mavs, Suns v Clippers. I'll give you my next predictions after that comes true.
