The size should be smaller to fit most screens. I have a 17" but I don't think most have anything bigger than that. I will give it a try.

As for the contest so far. That pamela chick is in first with 24%, then Rev Bob with 20%, then Yucko with 19%, thenJeff with the nigger nigger, then Adam with the Robin roast about her fathers fried chicken hands molesting her. Sal is in 6th with a strong 5% and there are the other 5 with 1% and 2%.

I kept seeing him and then he was behind the counter where Boots, Eric, Sean, Beetle, John, Florentine, & Goodstein were selling stuff and signing autographs. Someone asked him if he was Elephant Boy and he very annoyingly said "No, I am not Elephant Boy!" as if he had been asked several times already. When I saw him later at the club, I kept busting his balls and calling him Elephant boy. (as in "Elephant Boy, do you need another drink?") I fifgured he was just someones friend.

Does that mean that they will take only 1 vote per e-mail account holder no matter how many votes came from the account? They won't disqualify someone's vote that voted more than once per e-mail account, I hope?

I thought that kid Adam had a good voice for radio......very distinct and clear. His roast was really funny. The comic guy who did the Eminem song with the Artie roast about eating another meatball hero with cheese was funny also especially since he put absolutely no effort in to production with playing the actual Eminem song as opposed to the karaoke in the background.

This contest is great! The in-fighting between the contestants, and the contoversy surrounding the results are as entertaining as the roasts!

The only real issues with the fairness of the contest in my opinion don't deal with the fact that the cheating whore had all of her friends vote hundreds of times, because anyone could do that. What really blows is the fact that she had someone else write her original entry, as well as the Howard roast that she did today, and the rules clearly state:

Each cassette or CD submission must be the original creative work of the entrant

Also, the so-called comedy writer who did that great "Guess Who's Fat" Artie song with Eminem's CD playing in the background should have never qualified in the first place, since the rules also clearly state:

and must not contain copyrighted materials

The last time I checked, I'm pretty sure that Eminem's song's are copywritten, music, lyrics, and recording. But then again, the rules also cearly state:

And:

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of WXRK

So WXRK basically has the authority to disqualify or permit an entrant in direct violation of the official contest rules, or change the rules at any time, at their sole discretion, so I guess none of this has any bearing.

Despite all of this, I LOVE THESE CONTESTS!!! Even though I never miss a show, I haven't tuned in with such anticiption in a long, long time!

The way I understood the rules, they don't want anyone to roast anyone more than once in the "Live Roasting" portion of the contest, which originally was going to be 5 rounds instead of 3. Even yesterday Howard stated that they could roast whoever they wanted to today if they made it, but Gary added that if they moved into the finals they had to roast someone different.

Since it's obvious the rules are not being stuck to I don't think anyone really knows what's going on. They almost winging it.

The contest was open to anyone besides employees of THE SHOW and Golden Palace. Anyone who made it to the finals did so based on talent. I only wish now I had been able to enter, but because I won the Honk Kong Trip and the 2 grand, I was ineligible. :hw:

I was directing those comments to you cause you seem to be a representative of the station, the show and goldenpalace. In my opinion you talk and state information like you are offcially an employee. Yet in my opinion it seems your main goal is to defend the actions of the show and the station and not truly reflect what the listener is giving.

For example stated in earlier posts about the rules and the variation of how the rules are interpreted, the disclaimer that the station can make any rule change. To me that really is saying we want your participation and input but we are going to stick with people we know therefore we will do whatever we want. Im sure others feel the same way.

You stated your self the fans didnt choose those as worthy of a finalist. Yet yesterday you were all worked up about people casting more then one vote. So was there a huge campaign to get votes in for Levy and Yucko so ensure they were classified as a finalist. I personally think it was a popularity contest by those at the station and those who made the decisions on who they like better and not based on the content of the roast.

I love HOWARD and everything about THE SHOW. One of the best things about it is how people, such as on this board for example, and the callers, myself included, get ridiculed. I was referring to the process when they were whittling the entries down to the final 10. People who work on the show, it's not entirely clear who, voted on which ones would make it. Stuttering John listened to a bunch, Howard listened to "some." Don't know who else was involved.

True, listeners voted Rev. Bob and Yucko in, but maybe the ones that would have been better were already excluded by the crew. While I hate to think the Howard Stern show would eliminate funnier entries, they've shown that they have poor judgment at times. They're not funny 100% of the time. The vast majority of the time, but not all the time. I know that Bob's a great comedian, but his taped roast didn't do it for me.

To even think she was close to him with that pathetic material and performance lends credence that she was cheating besides the fact that Golden Palace knows what she was doing and would have disqualified her anyway after the investigation. Too bad Sal had to lose out to her because of her dishonest ways. This has made my day knowing the unfunny cunt is flying back coach. If you had a choice to get any color for the Dodge Durango, what color would you get? I would get red. According to my insurance company, having a new red vehicle as opposed to any other color increases the rate, as they fall in to some formula for being more susceptible to getting in to an accident or being hit with tickets. Must be something based on the personalities of drivers who choose red as their favorite color at those mall survey's you take for the enticement of $5.00-$20.00 depending on the length of the survey. If I had advanced (and I was telling people my chances were slim and none), I was prepared to roast Benji and then Fred in the finals.

BTW, there had been some discussion about what we were told we could do. This was clarified during the week of Dec. 9-13 - KC called and said that although the entry roasts had to be about one specific cast member, for the subsequent rounds, we could go around the room.

"You mean potshot?" I asked.

"Don't stifle your creativity," KC said. Somebody gave him that line.

I thought they had told everybody the same thing, but when I mentioned it to Bob Levy, his eyes widened. "Good - I have a Howard joke I want to use in the finals," he said. He was talking about that last line - what do Allison and Java have in common?
