Despite having Paint Shop Pro and all, I've never done any "art" except photoshop-type stuff. So, today I saw some art vids online and was tempted to see what I can do. I didn't know what I would try and started with a charcoal outline and became inspired from there. I soon figured who the victim would be and gave it a shot. Although I had a pic for reference, this is all freehand....basically layer after layer of "burns" ,"dodges" and "smudges", with other elements added, of course. This took about an hour, and is Artie, if you can't tell.

might look at the time lapse per frame. uniform is cool for clips that are uniform motion. not sure what you have the delay per frame at, but could slow the door impact down a half second or a whole to see if it helps show impact. looks cool though, you have a nice seam at the first frame and last frame.

took a look at it. at 4 megs and 72 frames, one trick you can use, delete every other frame you have and increase the delay by 1/2. Helps to keep size down.

I use ImageReady as well. I don't think I'm using it to its full potential though. I have fun with it. My animations usually end up with a very "Monty Python" feel to them. Here's one I did of BigSnot that was very popular...

They must have sized it down somehow (it's like, 3.35mb in original form -- 100 frames at 0.01 seconds each)

The version on the HS site is 440k and has only 16 frames at apprx 0.2 seconds each.

Check first what "optimized" window you have chosen (4 up).Something small like that Gif should be able to go pretty high in value.

Also, look at Window>Show Optimized pallette. You might have your output settings on "web" (it looks that way). Try "custom" and make sure you don't have any "lossy" value below the highest number allowed.
