I am a big fan of David Lee Roth as a lead singer of Van Halen, and perhaps a little as a solo artist. I couldn't give a crap about him as a radio host and think he is just wasting his talent trying to be a DJ.

However, something I would love to see is some other New York City station hire him for the morning drive, and not only would he get the ratings that he never got on FREE FM, but that he kicks O&A's ass in the ratings.

The operative words here are perhaps a little. Zippitty Bippity Bop wasn't actually that cute or funny, not for his target audience of males anyway. In the hands of great song writing he was a passable frontman and pretty fucking ordinary singer, bordering on shitty.
