The fans that bought XM to listen to them now get a shorter uncensored show. They spend the first part of the morning listening to "their boys" do a commercial for XM so "the boys" can get more listeners.

More listeners do not benefit their fans. It only benefits O&A. The fans don't get one penny for new XM listeners, but they are asked to suffer through a watered-down commercial version of the show just to get more money for XM and O&A.

Howard asked us to pay for Sirius and many of us did. In return we got the usual great content that Sirius has to offer. But we also got 2 channels with 24 hrs of programming designed by Howard for Howard fans. He may not care about us personally, but it's his job to entertain us. And he has done that over and over again like his life depends on it.

I actually feel sad that the O&A fans will never have this level of entertainment. I also feel bad they have had their loyalty rewarded with a slap in the face - just to get some extra dollars in their heroes pockets.

Oh don't worry, O & A have talked so much about Howard every single one of their fans knows where to find Howard. Besides the 7 or 8 pests, any fans who like shock radio will get a chance to show The two fags exactly how they feel about this stunt: they will cancel their XM sub and buy Sirius.

There will also be a hate backlash from their fans. It may get muted at first with some new fans tuning in thru testy radio but in the long run, fucking over your fans like they did, you always pay a price for that.

I do wonder what they really want from this career.... The money? I think they have a lot.... Fans who love them? well Antnys girl was a fan..... they have their pests... but they have lost many people's respect.... I guess they want approval from howard that they are good that they are worthy.... but their attitudes dont warrant this... I have listened to old shows from WNEW days versus the XM from 2005 and the current material... there is such a drastic change.... there is no inspiration, no creativity.... they are going through the motions.... it feels empty.... in 2 years back on the air... o/a have gotten together 3 shows... in 4 months howard has created about 24 different programs.... Radio hosts have to connect with their audience... not just a select few...

they should be on top of the world... they are satellite pioneers they have the premeire time slot with the premier location in one of the most hallowed studios in history and there is no joy in their mudville....

Having a 5-6 hour show a day isn't doable unless you have material. In this case, they have nothing, and their flow is worse than ever. They're ripping off Stern's long show and finding out the hard way that it's not easy. Maybe they should go 4 days a week.

There must be the beginnings of panic in their camp. They thought they would ascend the King's throne and automatically have his fans at their disposal. They were a story for a few days, but mainly because of the drama of DLR's firing, and because they were taking over Howard's old stomping grounds.

Reality is hitting them fast. There are only a handful of press mentions where they are anything but a footnote in connection to Howard. They do their daily march down the street and nobody notices or cares, not even on their triumphant first day. They held a contest and couldn't get anyone to come down to the station for $1000. The traffic on their websites have quickly returned to their normal levels. Where are the legions of new fans?

It will be interesting once the ratings start coming out. I guess we have to wait about a month and a half for that. Then it will be full panic mode and all about spinning their shitty ratings by touting an incremental improvement over the total disaster of DLR (you'd hope for their sake), or their ranking in Fat Mouthbreathing Virgins 18-34.

I read that yesterday O&A broadcast live from an electronics store to promote the release of a new XM radio. In the pictures posted, it appears to be the exact same small group of losers that accompanied them on their first day march. The same tiny group that makes up the "crowd" in EVERY set of pictures from appearances that I have ever seen. That would be like if on Howard's Last Day, all that showed up for him were ten wackpackers.

What's the problem with the boyzz? I thought they were annointed the new Kings of New York and would be toasts of the town by now. Was it a special VIP store promotion where only their personal friends the Pests got in, while a giant crowd of disappointed fans waited outside?
