So far, there have been several good shows, but people who have tried to tell their friends have been confronted with the show's unstable timeslot. Pretty soon it just gets too hard to "chase the show down" no matter how good it is.

The principle is no different than for TV programming. You have to be a really motivated and dedicated fan to check every week and follow a show that doesn't have a consistent schedule -- let alone being expected to listen and call in from midnight to 3 a.m. ET.

How many potentially strong sitcoms have died a premature death, simply because of the programming shuffle?

I hope they ultimately go weekly, but just being on the same night every other week is huge.
