We caught up with the Ball Breakers Ball at the Dancing Monkey in Jersey and had a great night. The venue was tiny, but the place was packed, a bunch of the SFN regulars were in attendance, and the show was hilarious. On stage was Sal the Stockbroker, High Pitch Eric, Reverend Bob Levy, Yucko the Clown, Toni Landolfi, and Fake Ozzy from the High Pitch Ozzy call. there was drunken laughter all night long.

This was the smallest crappiest club I've seen the boys in. We had a great time, but when we pulled up and walked into the place, i couldn't believe it. The room was 20'x60' with a bar & a dozen barstools, a small stage and tables & chairs for 2 dozen more. <font size=1>(I know cause I just counted them)</font> There were another dozen chairs along the wall and probably another 2 dozen people standing. That means that there were 80 people squeezed into that tiny joint. Not a bad turnout, but it looked like we were in a deli instead of a comedy club. This meant that the boys would not only have to win over the crowd, but they'd have to overcome the venue as well. I felt bad for them and I could tell that they were embarrassed. Evidently, the owner really made the place sound great over the phone and after some name dropping of other comics that he'd tricked into coming down there, they signed on for 3 nights. Looks like the joke was on them.<p>
Despite the looks of the place, it was a very cool night. We had a bunch of friends in the house and the guys were funny as hell. It's always worth the trip to see the show. It doesn't matter where they are. We were really glad we drove out and can't wait till the next show.
