I personally dislike the clownish look of the show intro/bumper/opening scene/whatever. That freak show type song drives me nuts as well. It just looks way too cheesy. I cringe every time I have to sit through it each time I select a show to watch. It is pure monkey shit. Pee-Wee's playhouse had a better intro then that.

I'd be happy with just the regular airtime show song (Rob Zombie - I think) in the background and a black screen. Damn, I guess I don't like one bit of a thing about it.

I like it- i just wish i was able to fast forward through it after watching it before every episode- i can fast forward past it but cant see how far ive gone- cablevision glitch i guess

Yeah, the original extended version got reeeeally old. At least now it's quick.

I really like it - love the freakshow and the cutout animation makes it that much more carnie.

Its a bunch of carnies, and Howard is the ringmaster - makes sense. Like the song as well, goes with the theme. Marilyn Manson carnie style. :clowny:

And the animation of Howard is fitting. I like the tip of the hat at the end . He looks really good in it. The website homepage is tits as well.

And I always think that Howard must be happy with it - it represents him well. Goes well with his "brand".

Howard as ringmaster of a feakshow is perfect. How better to describe the show? Sure it's a bit disturbing, but that just makes it more Howard. Love the tip of the hat at the end.

I say just skip the whole thing and get to the episode. It was maybe interesting the first time I saw it, but now it is just annoying.

They did shorten the intro. It used to be longer and concentrate on Baba Booeys bobbing head more in the intro

yeah...the carnival theme is kinda disturbing...especially the way it just kicks in on vod service...but i love the savanna sampson shot

When your watching a bunch of different shows the intro definitley gets annoying. It is not the animation or anything like that it is the god damn music that gets brutal after 5 or so shows in a row. Can't they have some alternatives?

I enjoy it, kinda cool with all the cut outs.

I agree on all of the above about the intro, plus the fact that the pace that they put on the shows has to get a little quicker. there really isn't too much editing needed, they are basically raw feed and it takes a week to get a show up! And again, like you said , the whole beginning just blows!

I loved the original version of it, then when they changed the logo to "Howard TV" instead of "Howard Stern On Demand", they shortened it and it wasn't as good.

I think the song is awesome and it really goes well with the show.

However the bumpers that they do on the InDemand show are incredibly ridiculous. You know, not the intro, but the stupid little songs they use in the middle of the shows in between edits. Very pathetic.
