what do you think? I mean CBS is running the coverage over the next days to finish up the final four.. And there can be breaking news everywhere.. Do you think CBS or any other network will boardcast the News of the War over their Precious Basketball games or other TV shows?
that would suck!!! Remember 9-11 shit nothing was on for two days but news and news!! (not that we can enjoy any shows after what happen anyway :( )

I read in the paper this morning that NCAA hoops is still on. Since CBS is viacom, they planned on putting the games on other Viacom-owned stations in case of war. MTV, VHI, BET, TNN, Nickelodean, TV Land, etc. are all Viacom channels. So look out for these.
This was todays paper...so who knows what happens now that the war has started...
GOD BLESS THE USA!

I don't know about baseball, but CBS paid like $3.4 mil for the NCAA broadcasting rights so yes that'll be on for sure. :hw:

...The war could affect television exposure. The tournament usually takes center stage this time of year. But CBS, which has a $6-billion contract with the NCAA to carry the men's tournament, might wind up shuffling games to other networks to provide round-the-clock war coverage. CBS, owned by Viacom, has talked about shifting games to other Viacom-owned networks such as BET, MTV, UPN or TNN. CBS also has discussed switching some games to ESPN, which already is carrying the women's games.
"We could be on Nickelodeon, and people will watch college basketball," MSU forward Aloysius Anagonye said. "It doesn't matter. "
