I heard the promo the other day for Howard's interview of Paul McCartney. I've probably read every interview and fluff piece on McCartney - Howard's interview with him was by far the best. The obvious awe that Howard felt didn't obscure his directness. The questions were fearless and unique, as were McCartney's answers. Real revealing. Can't wait to hear it in its entirety.

That's one interview that I wanted to hear again. That was one of the first things that I mentioned we needed to hear when they got the tapes back.
McCartney rolled with every question Howard threw at him too. Good shit!!!!

Stern was the only one who had the balls to ask McCartney about Lennon's alleged homo urges, and I think followed it up asking McCartney if he and Lennon ever had 'sword fights'. I think Paul was so taken with Howard that he invited him to appear in the 9/11 tribute.

and remember...Stern was continually bagging on Linda with her fucked up vocal tracks from Hey Jude.

not interested in Sean - I have a friend who had a run in with him in L.A. All he did was bag on Julian Lennon. Post on Squack!
