View Full Version : If XM and Sirius merge...
membear 08-16-2006, 05:42 PM Howard should not let O & A stay on the new Sirius merger....
Howard has said that he would never stop anyone from working, but they are working on free radio...
also one day I heard O & A say that Howard can NOT stop them from being on Letterman's show...I wish Howard would stop them , because they kind of dared him..
DrewsDaddy 08-16-2006, 05:43 PM Let it go! OR post it where it belongs in WGAS!

greddy10 08-16-2006, 05:44 PM Dude, howard can't stop Letterman show from having o and a on... letterman dont book people he has ppl who do that, and ITS CBS they wont listen to stern now anyhow. But it would be good if howard did do it tho
Ponderous 08-16-2006, 05:44 PM Sorry - giving a fuck about this is not on my list of things to do.
davevandam 08-16-2006, 05:45 PM He wouldn't fire O&A.. he's said he wouldn't do such a thing, but I think he would probably throw down the "stop talking shit about me" edict like they had back in Infinity. It really was better like that becasue then they actually had to try and be creative.
f-robin 08-16-2006, 05:47 PM The feds would never let XM and Sirius merge anyway. That would create a monopoly since there is no other Satellite radio competition. So, until some other satellite companies pop up, forget about it, it will never happen.

Do you know the ratings Howard gets when he goes on Letterman? It's an event! All Howard has to do is say that he won't do the show if Dopie & and Aintfunny are on, and he wins. He can promise them that he will make 4 appearances this year to make the deal better.
blicknasty 08-16-2006, 05:50 PM They should merge. Then they could be a profitable company. Or an incredible failure.
MaxPower 08-16-2006, 05:52 PM Why would Dave even want to have them on?
SteelRat 08-16-2006, 06:00 PM Their dare is a complete non-sequitur. Letterman’s “people” (read: Vinnie) asked Howard *in advance* if he had a problem with the booking, and he said he didn’t. CBS was pressuring them for the booking and if Howard did have a problem they likely would have taken it as an excuse to quietly pass, but now they’re on the schedule. Howard has no desire to block them, and if he wanted to he’s already passed on the opportunity. All it would do at this point is give the clones ten years of material bitching about it anyway.

It really was better like that becasue then they actually had to try and be creative. How could he fire anyone? Everyone works for sirius, not Howard.

Save this post...you may have to eat it
Sam Brownback 08-17-2006, 06:28 AM I suspect that if this happens, Howard will tell us all how great O&A are, and how great XM is.
He changes his tune like a cheap guitar.
BlackCherry 08-17-2006, 11:46 AM You know, for some of you people insisting that O&A don't even exist, you sure make sure they do by bringing them up in this forum. Just look at all the posts on SFN.
