It finally happened. My Sirius window decal got my car broken into only minutes before I went to my car. They took my Sirius ready radio and face plate and attempted to remove my Kenwood car dock. I had wired the antenna through the door paneling and it was pulled completely out and laying on the ground but the idiot couldn't figure out how to get the car dock off the windshield. I just love living in the ghetto around crack dealers.

Luckily my receiver is in my house. So yes, those Sirius window decals are still attracting the thieves everywhere. I never thought a drug addict would be able to figure out what Sirius is but I guess times are changing.

Be careful with those decals people.

The decals are awesome - but because of assholes like the one who broke into your car, I won't put one on my car. Sorry about your car bud - hope everything works out.

I have Siruis Decals on my Truck havent had any problems,
but then I dont live in the ghetto.

and on the plus side if they do get the sirius unit,
it wont do them any good, all you do is cancel the subscription and tell them it was stolen.

the unit is now worthless :)

Thanks. What's funny is this. The guy broke in, stole my stereo, stole a pair of sunglasses and my Motorola Razor car charger but didn't steal the car dock! Hillarious! The guy took the time to yank out the antenna but something tells me he thought it was a tracking system and left it alone. He wasn't bright enough to figure out how to lower the lever to pull the suckin cup off the glass. Luckily the Sirius car radio that I had doesn't have a code on the back, that's why I had to purchase a seperate unit. I should have put an XM decal on the window instead. Lolz

i live in a bad area and i put the decal on my car. but if anyone looks inside they see nothing because its all taken in or hidden, i say dont be afraid to promote sirius but dont leave stuff in there to steal either
