The SEC teams beat OSU most of the time. If Willis Maghee didn't bust a knee, Miami would have beat them.

Go referees! It shouldn't even be "BCS"; it's just "BS".

I hate Ohio State, and I don't much care for Florida except when they beat the shit out of Georgia and Alabama. I hate Michigan as well (and USC, just so the foursome is complete). Ohio State played a ho-hum schedule but beat all-comers (but then so did Boise State). Michigan hung in close, but in the end they still lost (and truthfully doesn't deserve consideration for the "National Championship" because they didn't even win their conference). USC couldn't even beat Oregon State or UCLA, and half their wins were squeakers, so fuck them. Florida actually had a tough schedule this year and faltered to the #5 team at the time (Auburn), but they did win their conference outright by beating the #2 team in the conference (Arkansas). Sorry Michigan fans, go cry foul because you get to play in the Rose Bowl. Your team only fucked themselves by not beating Ohio State. You wanna talk BCS robbery? Talk to the '04 Auburn Tigers or the '03 USC Trojans, and then get back to me. On second thought, don't get back to me because they're still playing in the Rose Bowl.

Good Luck Gators. I am from Arkansas, but I was pulling for Florida in the SEC Championship in the hopes someone other than Michigan would get a shot at OSU.

Make the SEC proud Gators!!!! :)

Well Brent sorry to say, but Florida is gonna get raped. I predict Ohio St. 55 - Florida 10 Final score.

Smith received 801 first-place votes cast by the national electorate. That is 86.7 percent of the votes, the highest percentage in history. Smith's biggest rout came in the most prestigious individual competition in college football.

He's going to kill Florida!

Aside from the few exceptions, hasn't the Heisman Trophy been more of a curse to an athlete's career than a blessing?! Bush got it last year, and USC got torched late in the title game last year by Vince Young. The list of Heisman winners 1980-2005 (with my opinions):

1980 George Rogers South Carolina RB <== went to New Orleans and finished a short career in Washington
1981 Marcus Allen USC RB <== one of the best
1982 Herschel Walker Georgia RB <== really came into his own in Dallas
1983 Mike Rozier Nebraska RB <== short career, mission unaccomplished
1984 Doug Flutie Boston College QB <== continued to defy the odds right up to his recent retirement
1985 Bo Jackson Auburn RB <== 2-sport pro-athlete whose football career was cut short due to major injury
1986 Vinny Testaverde Miami (Fla) QB <== 20-year pro career filled with nothing
1987 Tim Brown Notre Dame WR <== great player stuck with shitty team
1988 Barry Sanders Oklahoma State RB <== retired on top of his game with health intact
1989 Andre Ware Houston QB Jr. <== lackluster career
1990 Ty Detmer Brigham Young QB <== couldn't catch on as a starter
1991 Desmond Howard Michigan WR <== ho-hum pro career
1992 Gino Torretta Miami (Fla) QB <== can we say FLOP?!?!
1993 Charlie Ward Florida State QB <== never played a single NFL game (went to NBA)
1994 Rashaan Salaam Colorado RB <== can't think of anything he ever did
1995 Eddie George Ohio State RB <== injuries cut his career short (well, that and signing with Dallas)
1996 Danny Wuerffel Florida QB <== isn't he one of Brent's favorites?!?!
1997 Charles Woodson Michigan CB <== again, another talent gone to waste in Oakland
1998 Ricky Williams Texas RB <== currently serving 1-year ban from NFL
1999 Ron Dayne Wisconsin RB <== solid back who got lost in Tiki Barber's shadow
2000 Chris Weinke Florida State QB <== shouldn't he be collecting Social Security by now?!
2001 Eric Crouch Nebraska QB <== out of NFL
2002 Carson Palmer USC QB <== kicking ass in Cincinnati
2003 Jason White Oklahoma QB <== went back for senior season and had career-ending injury
2004 Matt Leinart USC QB Jr. <== if Dennis Green could get him better blockers, he could be in the same conversation as Peyton Manning
2005 Reggie Bush USC RB Jr. <== nice fit with Drew Brees and New Orleans -- here's hoping he stays healthy

Good luck, Troy. You deserved the Heisman this year, hands down. Just don't let it be your only accolade in what could be a stellar career.

Crouch was the next thing to super hero here in Nebraska until he didn't gut it out with the Rams. He is now known as a quitter and probably the main catalyst for Solich getting fired and bringing in the West Coast Offense. He was retarded for thinking he was an NFL quarterback. Although I found his game pretty similar to Micheal Vick's game.
