I recently hardwired my Starmate Replay to my Aux input on my headunit. Since doing this I am experiencing engine whine. I used a good shielded RCA cable and have everything ran clear of power wires. What could be the issue? The noise does not exist while playing regular radio or the cd's. Just the Starmate radio via the Aux input. Is it the radio itself? Could the radio be getting the interference internally? I'd hate to go back to the FM mod.
