Can any of you get this avatar under 30k without reducing quality too much? For all I know it's not possible but thought I'd ask just in case:

I just linked another one up there- it's 80k. Can you reduce that one? If not, this one will work fine. The one up there now has one additional frame.

What software are you using? I've tried a few different ones but I can't find one that allows me to set a file size like you can in photoshop.

If you keep a smooth transition, it bumps the number of frames WAAAAYYY up, thus, a HUGE file size.

I wish AV size could be upped to 40 or 50 K. Most of the cool ass ones I make have to be re-done because they come in at like 31 or 32K size on disk.

Something that may help, even just a little but perhaps just enough, would be to not have the AVs set at 150x150 when creating but reduce the actual size by a few pixels here and there. There's also a little trick that can be used by not having to show the original (in this case, the nutty squirrel) in every frame in order to pull off the wipe. I've not made any attempts, nor do I know what you went through (just brainstorming), but I'm just drawing on past experiences and hoping an extra perspective can provide some insight. Again, just an idea!
