I think that people need to realize that when it comes to Bubba, Howard or anyone else reading the posts on here, that they are trying to use these forums as a gauge as to how the fans are liking or not liking the show(s). These people are trying to give us, their listeners and fans, the best shows that they can and using this forum as instant feedback. And since a couple of people decided that they wanted to bust Bubba's chops on here, he has pulled his support from SFN and is leaving it so that the only questions will be coming from BTLS.net. Many people are upset because of this, but I can't blame Bubba one bit. He is trying to keep his show on the air for many more years on Sirius, but if I am sure that he is concerned that if someone from New York were to see the posts, that they would think that he is putting a bad product on the air and want to pull him.

I know personally, that I would not want to see that happen. I have gotten to enjoy all that Howard and his staff along with Bubba and his crew have put together for us to listen to on the channels since 1/9/06 and I don't want to think of Howard 101 being minus Bubba or even Ferrall, but that can happen if New York gets enough negative feedback. It's because of Bubba that I am watching more NASCAR(normally, I would only be watching other racing, not NASCAR), plus even though I know it's "Sports Entertainment", I do watch a little more of pro wrestling because of Bubba having people like Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle on. I would like to see Bubba sticking around for the next 20 years on Sirius-because I personally feel that IF Howard does retire in 4 years, Bubba will be the next in line to assume the heirarchy.

I am new around here... but why can't someone be critical of a performer? I dont want to flame Bubba... I bought the Sirius unit for Howard, and now keep it for Bubba... I listen 4 hours a day... I dont buy the cd or merchandise... I think that some of Bubba's bits are stupid... and I think some of them are comedy gold... but why censor the critizism? However, I think that the 1%'ers get too cranked up over worrying about offending the "sacred cows." I do think that maybe voicing your opinion in a method other then "fuck that sucked" is valid, but there are other times that those sentiments can not be stated otherwise.

If Bubba can convert my mom with his bunch of freaks, geeks, gods and rods, then he can convert anyone. I suspect that NYC knows that.

It does concern me though that he can't take some shit from time to time without going into a hissy over the subject. Not everything is going to be gold all the time, no matter how obsessed he is with proving the contrary. Some folks are going to find an avenue to take a shit on that when it happens. Sometimes that will be justified, and others it will just be some fuck-wit getting his asshole jollies out in a flame of glory. Bubba has said time and time again that the reason he comes on here is to get some sort of measure for what the thoughts of the fans are. I am a Bubba Mark through and through, but I also know that from time to time it seems that Hogan is just using Bubba. I know they are best friends, I know that Hogan offered to help Bubba out and to help get him back in shape, I understand all of that. I have had friends who I have done the same for, and they have in turn done the same for me.
