Hannity is the biggest one I know of. He also competes with the last hour of Dan Patrick. Dr. Old Slut Laura runs in the same time slot too. Kind of funny since the only thing good about Dr. Slut was she hated pedophiles and Bubba hates them even more. ESPN moved Erik Kusilius to a new Nascar TV show from the Sports Bash since they don't give a shit about that time slot and now have John Seibel hosting it. I used to listen to E K before Bubba was on since I would get the 5 o'clock central time locally and I enjoyed him. A format change ended that. A funny idea might be to parachute in on Hannity on 143 and take him on head to head with his love for his butt buddy Bush.

Bubba has such a different type of show I dont know if you can really compare his time slot to anyone else. I would guess most who listen to Bubba woudnt even listen to Hannity if Bubba wasnt on the air.

In Akron-Cleveland, they re-run Dopie and Anthony on 92.5

I'd rather listen to fingernails scraping across a chalkboard for four hours than listen to Hannity. I used to listen to ESPN Radio from 6AM to 7PM throughout the week until 1/9/06. I still tune in on the days Howard isn't working (when I'm actually awake) because I just can't get into MTT. Thankfully there's good choices for music on the lower end of the dial.

Btw, why hasn't Ferrall been hosting his show the last three nights?? He did the promo for last night's show, but he was a no-show. Really sucks on nights when he's not on and there's no Sabres game on Sirius (last two games weren't broadcast -- bad move not airing the current #2 team in the NHL, even if this is the final year of the contract with Sirius).

I have no idea, I haven't listened to anything but Sirius for over 2 years. I can't stand the commercials on regular radio. You could set your watch by the commercials on radio out in LA.

Ferrall was on a brief 3 day vacation, not bad for a guy that I believed worked Christmas night.

I was thinking more about regular radio. However they do screw over Bubba, Jim Breur, and Rich and Covino for all running programming for young males all at the same time now that you mention it. There isn't a lot of live mid-day programming to go head to head on Sirius with the say Jim Rome or on terrestrial radio (which I don't get in my local area). ESPN has the only good live midday programming that I am aware of on Sirius. Speaking of Ferrall, he has a comfy time slot since no one else is on then. ESPN has put in a show with Doug Gottlieb called the pulse to go head to head with Ferrall.

Not to mention H.R. told him he HAD to use the vacation days, I swear, the man doesn't take a day off, ever. He even does the show from his house when he's sick.

On free radio, the Don and Mike Show is on during the same slot as Bubba. I used to listen to them here locally prior to Bubba coming to Sirius. Bubba mentioned something about them taking one of his bits a couple of weeks back... Also, during the time of the O&A/BTLS battles back and forth on the air, BTLS mentioned D&M as having more talent than O&A

I was think Bubba was going up against more AM guys since they are heard more nationally in a lot of markets versus FM which is usually music especially in the afternoon. The great thing about Sirius is you can hear a show in any part of the country instead of having to rely on a local affiliate pick up a show. I think for most brain dead Americans radio is just background music with the occasional news of a tornado warning or a criminal on the loose. Obviously though some people are listening to these AM political (mostly right wing) and sports talk shows (which are usually just Yankee talk during the spring and summer). Even though Bubba is on a pay service I think he can and should take Hannity on for that reason. And didn't Bubba always like to take on and make fun of with parities of his competition?

Commercials aren't bad for a minute or two but 4-7 minutes of commercials is ridiculous HD radio what a joke. Regular radio in la has commercial after commercial then a few minutes of talk, then more commercials followed by even more commercials.
