But to be fair, none of us could say we'd do things differently. Sounds like Arizona's offer was not going to be matched (or close to it) and who wouldn't head somewhere else for double they money? We are talking MILLIONS!

Sure, the ring is priceless, but there was no garauntee of that ring. In hindsight, sure it sucks for him (winning in Miami has to be particularly painful for a "U" boy), but he's still got his money and that's not such a bad thing either.

I would agree to some extent. Having a ring and being a champion has to carry some weight with players.

He's plays in my hoop league. He's a pretty cool guy just hangs with his boys from his hometown. I am sure it stings a little bit buy he took the money like anybody would. If he stayed with the Colts he would of lost like seventy percent of his contract he signed with the Cards. Who would do that?
