Followed by 12 abscess' on my lungs. Basically, a very nasty staff infection. They didn't give me much of a chance to live, but due to a new, broader spectrum antibiotic and a great surgeon, I'm here the tell the tale. 3 mos in a quarentined hospital room, 7 mos in a removeable cast and 9 mos on crutches. 13 years old was a very sucky year for me!!! Left leg will never be the same. It's weaker than the right and has caused back problems over the years. Delayed my freshman HS year by a year! :( :( anal hair 02-12-2007, 02:25 PM Hangover from 20 beers and shots. Couldn't sleep, head pounding and throwing up... Typhoon1930 02-13-2007, 12:22 AM Hypothermia--Sucks--You think you have the flu, you can't stop shaking or get warm, if you eat anything, it comes right back up and Nothing Keeps You Warm... Nothing! And your mind is just stupid---you know things aren't right, but there's nothing you can do about it and you don't think about fighting it. I seriously wanted to die. artistbehr 02-13-2007, 12:32 AM dance fever daven30 02-13-2007, 12:37 AM food poisioning in Jamaica. It was the only time I truly had it coming out of both ends. I'm still torn between that and strep, though. I've had bronchitis, pneumonia, the flu, chicken pox, all sorts of shitty maladies, but food poisoning is wretched and strep is the worst throat pain nasty shit...tough to decide.... It was horrible. porciniman 02-18-2007, 03:31 PM good fucking lord that is some heavy shit. did you get that in a hospital? in any event i'm happy you pulled through No, not in the hospital...had it going in. It was a bad diagnosis and improper treatment, that caused it to become the nightmare it evolved into. The lung shit happened while in the hospital! You could call it medical nemisis!!! The funny/ironic shit was...the hospital, that fucked up the diagnosis...sent my mom a $10,000 hospital bill. When she threatened to sue for poor service!!!!...all of sudden....the hospital bill disapped!!! Go figure. |
