FTEnelson 04-04-2007, 07:22 PM  just ordered an 08 350 with the 6.4 test drove it quite as all hell, more power then im gunna know what to do with, and QUICK i was suprised with the twin turbo figured there would be mean turbo lag but it was awesome. actually took it for a day(i know the guy) and it gets killer fuel mileage got 22mpg around town and like 25 on the highway. so impressed i just spennt 45g's to have one built with a utility body and a 9 foot blade NAMELESS1 04-04-2007, 07:34 PM Back to my above post..They are sequential turbo's....NOT TWIN TURBO'S...As maller turbo feeds a larger turbo..Doing this cuts waay down on turbo lag like you experienced.. The Dodge with the Cummins engine is definately an outstanding motor. But the fact is if you trade in a Ford or Chevy, your gonna get at least 5g more than if you were trading in a comparable Dodge. They really have horse shit resale, I don't know why, they just do......................those are the facts. Is that new 6.4 motor a Cat engine? We have a 94 chevy dually 4x4 350. Plus some real old duallys we haven't quite junked yet. Plus a '98 1 ton regular cab. We use them to pull our cattle trailers around plus other things on a fifth wheel. An F250 would be sufficient for Bubba to pull a 20 foot trailer on a fifth wheel- which is what I hope Bubba bought instead of a pull type trailer since they are pieces of shit since they get whipping around when you go too fast. I saw an F450 pulling a 40 foot cattle trailer last winter, so I'd like to have one if I could afford a good trailer to pull behind it. perryman94 04-06-2007, 08:15 AM Nice love-sponged version! kmkomr 04-06-2007, 08:28 AM Fuck Fords they suck ass I am with JBEEZEE check out the Chevy 3500 HD CC 4X4 Diesel now that is a bad ass mochine. It's not like he needs any of that extra power or any of that shit bubbad45 04-06-2007, 04:20 PM i drove one and same as last year piece of shit i wouldent have a ford shoved up my ass!my brother hauls hot shot and blew up his power joke up twice in 30,000 miles. But then again my duramax has pulled him out of a pinch more than once.but like all the makes there are good ones and there are bad ones :D Major Player 04-06-2007, 10:07 PM Waste of money, his F150 would do the same job. It's not like he needs any of that extra power or any of that shit Although he won't have the 20 foot trailer completely loaded like I would with cattle, a 3/4 ton is a much better choice to pull a trailer of that size down the highway. Plus if he puts a fifth wheel on his F-150 that will decrease the value of it on a trade in. It's not like he needs any of that extra power or any of that shit Pulling a trailer with all the shit that Lasker mentioned in it would toss the 150 around too much and you wouldn't feel very comfortable taking corners at higher speeds, you gotta figure he probably drives his vehicles like he stole them ImBooper 04-08-2007, 01:22 PM the one ive got still is leaking every liquid it can from everywhere but ive never lost compression, only thing that kills it is winter lol LOL! Yep you'll never find a Ford with a rusty frame cuz they're soaked in power steering fluid!!! :bl: Briles 04-08-2007, 01:37 PM I'm leaning towards a Chevy Duramax. They are a little less loud. And they are mated with an Allison transmission. I have not heard anything bad about the last few years of Duramax production. The trannies are supposed to be the best available. :dontknow: Anybody like that fucking fender vent on the new Ford?
