**FILE** Opie, right, whose real name is Gregg Hughes, and Anthony Cumia, left, of the radio show "Opie & Anthony" pose for a photograph in their studio, in this Oct. 8, 2004 file photo, in New York. The XM Satellite Radio shock jocks apologized Friday, May 11, 2007, for airing a homeless man's crude comments that he'd like to have sex with Condoleezza Rice, Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth. The end is near. O&A rant and rave about how they want to stick it to the man, the will never apologize, blah, blah, blah........

They must realize now that their days are numbered on CBS, especially now that JV & Elvis just got canned, so XM is really all that they have. XM however is not that safe for them either because if the merger happens life will not be happy for them with Mel and Howard. XM executives and shareholders need this merger to happen. Don't be surprised if the get canned by XM if there even a slight thought that O&A will disrupt the merger.

Last time O&A apologized on air was just before they got fired for the sex in the church bit. History appears to be repeating itself.

Zero.............Point.................Zero....... ......

its actually kinda funny, the day after the homeless dude made the comments they're on air bashing curt schilling for apologizing to barry bonds, and go on a rant about how public apologies are bullshit and you'll never catch them doing it.... yet the very next day..

I’d have more respect for them if they didn’t apologize.

I have no respect for them at all, whether or not they apologized. They whine about how their freedom of speech is being violated and what are they doing now on their message board? Ripping people who are criticizing Opie and Anthony and telling them to leave the message board. Even Anthony Cumia is on the message board ripping people who are criticizing them. So much for freedom of speech!

Talk about sad when the radio host has to sign up on a message board to argue for there own show.
