I was fortunate to hear a replay of the 5/9/07 show to find out twice the bboys mentioned who homeless charlie was... he was part of the 2006 homeless shopping spree 12/16/2006 that went to the short hills mall in NJ... i looked at some youtube vids but couldnt find a picture of him... wackbag is down right now... it is possible this person is real.. if anyone has pics of this guy (hes usually around times square and has signs that say want money for beer) post it... i think sharpton, glenn beck want to know what this guy looks like...

You and your ilk have the whole situation wrong.

This is not about "free speech." Despite what you or your fellow "pests" believe, your heros do not have the "right" to say whatever they want. Every company has the right to self-police the behavior of its employees. Bottom line - comments were made that XM objected to, your heros apologized as they were told to do and then they went on CBS and complained about having to apologize. If I ran XM, I would have suspended them too because they were making XM look stupid.

There are many ironies to this story, and one of them is how you and the "pests" hailed XM when O.O were hired a couple years ago. Then this happens and all of a sudden you are throwing a collective hissy fit and smashing your XM units because you believe O.O's "free speech" is being infringed. Wake up. Their employer is in the middle of a merger - O.O should have known better than to talk about raping the First Lady and the Secretary of State. Bringing in a third party (some homeless guy) is no excuse. The last thing XM wants/needs is bad press that involves high ranking government officials, and I don't blame XM for being concerned. Whether O.O is happy with the merger is irrelevant - they have an obligation to their employer. If they want to be "renegades" and have complete freedom of speech, then they can go stand on a street corner. The bottom line is that O.O used poor judgement and then complained when their employer had them apologize for it.

So go ahead and cancel your XM subscription and flush your receiver down the toilet. If you think that O.O aren't scared to death about getting fired from XM you are delusional. Your heros will go running back to XM once the suspension is over and you and the "pests" will follow them back and you will all look like total hypocrites.
