Yeah, but why where they still flying. You would think they would make emergency landing or something or maybe they where trying to do that.

First off you have to be above 12,000 feet to be in any danger with the door off. Before you argue that point think of the planes in which sky divers jump out of. It would just make for a loud flight. As an aircraft mechanic I would never fly on a plane that has been work on by anyone in Africa. They might have some standards and rules but those are weak at best.
