Howard announced today that the show will be at the Hard Rock Casino (http://www.hardrockhotel.com/home.php) once again this year. April 27th - 29th. get your plane tickets now people. I'm sure it will be a great time once again.

02-13-04 UPDATE: Tom announced that it sounds like they'll be changing the date. There's nothing official yet. The word is that the Hard Rock didn't have enough time to prepare and reserve a block of rooms for the crew and sponsors and wound up overbooking that week. I spoke to the Hard Rock yesterday and they said that the new tentative dates are May 10th-12th I'd hold off until Howard announces something official though.

By the way, rooms for the April 26th to the 29th averaged $129 a night. They've jacked the rates up for these new dates in May. The new room rate is $359 a night!!!!!!! Looks like the Hard Rock wants to clear out the riff-raff.

02-24-04 UPDATE: Howard announced today that the new official dates are Tuesday May 11th to Thursday May 13th. I called the Hard Rock and rooms are over $300 a night now! They aren't honoring any rates for the April reservations. The Alexis Park Suites (http://alexispark.com) are right across the street, clean and affordable. I think alot of Stern Fans will be staying there this year.

02-25-04 UPDATE: sexecutioner found a deal on rooms at the Hard Rock thru www.expedia.com. I booked my room for $171 a night including tax. Good luck getting a room, they will be going fast.

03-18-04 UPDATE: Tom Cheapasano said that no matter what happens, the show is going to Las Vegas.

Ok lets see if they haven't raised the rates we got our room this morning. Go to online specials (http://www.hardrockspecials.com/#) then click on where is says more for your money. Then click on view next special on the bottom left until it brings you to Aprils specials. Tuesday night is $159, Wednesday is $69 and Thursday night is $99 it wont let you get Friday night unless you stay Saturday night too. This is an awesome fucking deal for the Hard rock. Good luck!! Will do suddz. Got my new camera and I'm reading the instructions finally. I need to find a quick action/sports setting so I don't have lots of blurred photos. I have 2 batteries for my Canon G5 and 1 512meg film + 3 128meg cards. Just saw 512 meg cards of sale for $30. Might have to pick a couple more up.

No big deal. If you book your room directly with the hard rock instead of an online travel site, you can cancel without any charge. It was the same price as the travel site. 1-800-HRD-ROCK Get your room and if they change the date, just call up and change your room too.

Yeah, the Alexis Park across the street is a cool low key place, especially for parties, and the price midweek should be way cheaper. They did have a homicide there recently though.

The Hard Rock was cool in the late 90's, and was a good hang out for locals. Now they've raised room rates 70%, tightened up all machines to the point of pure losing-ness, and made the minimum table limits $10 to $15. No one goes to HR anymore around here. It's basically a tourist trap now, much like the strip hotels.

The place to be is over at The Palms. The amount of "babe-age" is incredible. The word here was that the Maloof brothers were trying to woo Howard into doing the show over at Palms.

Btw, Club Paradise across the street is soooooo weak! Don't waste your time there nless you have $500 to throw out in the street. Cheetah's would be a better alternative.

just booked my round trip flight and 1 room at the Hard Rock for mon-tues and wednsday, leaving thursday.. $904 total, thats flight and room. Not too bad of a deal.

I live just south of Mandalay Bay in a residential area off the end of the strip. I'm only 15 minutes of local street driving to the Hard Rock. I am shocked to see people being happy to pay $200 per night at the HR.

I had a girlfriend last year who worked for a PR company here in LV, and she could pick up the phone and get rooms for a $59 corporate rate ANY night of the week. Prices are so negoitable on these rooms it's not even funny, but because they know all the Stern-a-holics are coming they know they can get the rip-off prices. SHADY. So "Hard Rock." Typical of these bastards. :mad:

Alexis Park is notorious for parties all night. What's cool is that you can jump from suite to suite looking for new hotties. You get a good mix of locals and tourists partying it up there. Sometimes there's some real scums that do hang there, and I mean worse than us SFN scums, so you have to watch out. The "Boyz In Da Hood" like to hang and drink their "Champ-Ale" NWA style. Just gotta watch your back and not get "rolled." It does happen out here! :mad:

I forgot to say that the local news out here did an expose piece about the "city's worst bedspreads," and Hard Rock was number 2 on the worst list!!

Apparently they had a numbering system of what was acceptable levels for DNA on the 'spreads, but Hard Rock did not pass the Semen, Feces and Blood test.

Suggestion was to immediately take off the bedspread after hitting the room, call Housekeeping ASAP and ask for a brand clean bedspread, assuring no DNA.

Wow, that sounds good! I am all about that! And a party would be so fun! I love to entertain! The only thing I would miss is running into everyone like we did last year. I guess it's no big deal, we would sleep and shower in our hotel and hang out at the Hard Rock all the rest of the time. I thing I think I would miss the most is the kickin' pool at the hard rock. But it sounds like this other place is real nice so I guess they have a nice pool as well.

They are still working on it and need to talk to the show & the E! people more and find out what they would like. Howard and crew will be up on the front stage, the show will be on all the hotel tvs, and nothing more has been decided yet. As far as he knows, it will be open to the general public and free, but selling tickets or only allowing the first X amount of people in are being considered because of the restricted size of the place.

i think the joint had 12 to 14 hundred for the show we did and that was with seating..i think between the bottom and the top section they can get about 2000 in there standing

I'm not trying to plan any SFN events. Everyone wound up hanging at the circle bar almost every night. I'm sure thats where we'll all be able. Maybe we'll throw together a titty bar run, but after our great deal last year fell thru, I'm a little hesitant. If you come down any night after 10pm and walk to the center of the casino, you'll find plenty of SFNers and show regulars. Poke your head through the photo album and you'll see.

wow, thanks again Mutt.. since Howard announced the Vegas trip I have been trying to convince a friend from West Chester to meet us out there. This is perfect.

If Howard Stern does in fact get taken off the air all together, I hope he doesn't cancel his Las Vegas trip. Even if there is no radio show to tape in Vegas, they can still tape shows for the E! Show. What does everyone else think?

I just heard Monday's show and a caller asked Howard if the Vegas trip was still on and he said, "Yes... that's if I'm still on the air". Come on Howard, don't cancel! I already got flight and hotel reservations and I got that whole week off!!!

He said this morning that he wasn't sure it was going to happen.

The least he could do is still go and do a live show for you guys.

DICKFACE CHIASANO did say later on that Vegas was still happening, so who knows. Howard might be just playing it up, so if he gets fired next week he can say he predicted it. If he doesn't then it's all good. I dunno though, 'cause Howard's usually right on about all the shit that goes on in his career. The dude is pretty business smart.

I was the blue haired freak, and of course, I remember every second of it. I talked to Zolar and Joey Boots most of the time, who were very cool, and spent some time talking to Gary the Retard, who asked me to find him an agent. The only negative I can remember was either Melrose Larry acting like he owned the place, or High Pitch Eric demanding my seat because he needed a place to sit.

Probably the best way to see me would be during the buttaface contest, for all the reaction shots.

Anyway, the best part for me last year, happened after the show. I'm a friend of Benjy's since college, and he got me into a few places I never would have gotten into on my own merits.

There's a lot of story to go with that, but let's just say I got into the VIP section of Stuttering John's comedy show (while Melrose was stopped by the security guard), and went to an E! party later that night, and ended up meeting, and hooking up with Kylie Ireland. We still see each other on occasion, and I do have photos to back that up.

Anyway, if there's any sort of gathering this year, I'd love to make it over and hang out. I'm staying with a friend who lives in Vegas, and this year, I'm driving down from Seattle, so I'll be a lot more free in my choices of getting around town. Hopefully this years week in Vegas will out do last year's, and that's saying a lot.

I forgot to say that the local news out here did an expose piece about the "city's worst bedspreads," and Hard Rock was number 2 on the worst list!!

Apparently they had a numbering system of what was acceptable levels for DNA on the 'spreads, but Hard Rock did not pass the Semen, Feces and Blood test.

Suggestion was to immediately take off the bedspread after hitting the room, call Housekeeping ASAP and ask for a brand clean bedspread, assuring no DNA.
