View Full Version : Tom the Treeman gets his Pinellas Park job back! rsh5210 06-28-2007, 09:00 PM Just heard on Howard 100 News that Tom the Treeman was reinstated by Pinellas Park. I hope he gets paid for the he was suspended. RedN'Dirty 06-29-2007, 12:08 AM Wonderful. Even though I was half hoping that it would get to the point that the city would have had so many lawyers up their ass that they would have thought that someone had built a new branch office up there. But still, I think it's bullshit that he has to sign a contract saying that he won't be a part of the show again.....or at least to : "discontinue your participation in the improper, graphic, vulgar and undesirable types of published behavior." It still infringes on personal rights, but I think at this point Tom just wants to get back to work. Can't blame him though, considering that his mom just recently died, he probably wants to get his ind off of that, and sitting around the house ain't gonna do it. I hate to see anyone's personal rights limited. madhi19 06-29-2007, 03:15 AM Every time a citizen has to sign away is right just so he can make a paycheck we all lost a little part of our freedom. Nightbreed 06-29-2007, 04:19 AM I agree with madhi19, but i am glad to see Tom got his Job back. No one should have to be looking for work in this shitty economy. Especially since Tampa laid off like 200 people yesterday. madhi19 06-29-2007, 05:05 AM I wonder if Bubba got a case to sue their ass. I mean who would want to be an intern for him if any asshole can use this to harass you out of your dayjob. It could also be seen has libel toward Bubba and Sirrius. TTboy33 06-29-2007, 05:12 AM is he still an intern w/sponge? imgrtful 06-29-2007, 06:04 AM they interviewed bubba on bay news nine and he said that he felt the best thing to do was "to keep his fat mouth shut and let the appropiate persons handle this case".or something to that extent.they had the entire interview on bay news nine on demand last night.its channel 35something on brighthouse.check it out if your local.he's wearing his bubba shades while doing the interview at his studio.he thinks he's hollywood status now i guess. You mean like the way he's always done the interviews? mkriss5681 06-29-2007, 08:52 AM They knew they were fighting a losing battle. webcams 06-29-2007, 12:01 PM City got what they wanted, Tom figured out who was behind him and what was in His best interest, Everyone wins. madhi19 06-29-2007, 12:15 PM Everyone wins. Everyone wins my ass I don't win you don't win because now we can look forward to a day soon were we all got to sign away our freedom just so we can work. A day when to keep your job you have to show your cable bill to prouve that you did not buy any porn that month. A day when keeping a blog is enough to gets you fire. So do you still think that everyone wins... stlredbird 06-29-2007, 12:29 PM I'm sure that will be a wonderful working environment from here on out. webcams 06-30-2007, 02:23 AM I'm sure that will be a wonderful working environment from here on out. Working Conditions will be horrible everyone will know what happen , they will have there own opinion, and in the end the City will make life miserable for him. He won't promote, and shift changes may be in his future. All of this done legally because it will be nearly impossible to prove. I guess I should have made one thing clear when I said everyone wins, Everyone wins in the fact that: Tom needed his job back he made nothing the last 30 days. City of Pinellas Park got an employee to agree to stricter working conditions outside the collective bargaining agreement. City of Pinellas Park Paid 1 employee 0 the last 30 days. City of Pinellas Park Proved it's point, we can make life miserable for you because it won't cost us a dime, they Play with House Money or in reality Tax $ which is our money, they are rarely personally liable. Bubba got his 2 minute soundbites in. As for the rest of the Working Public, it goes to show just how hard some places are to work. Some employers refuse to hire employees or fire employees who smoke at home, cigarettes regular tobacco, not Weed or crack, regular smokes. Personal Privacy is fleeting thing in this country, especially when you have so called libertarians like Brent begging for government interference and there personal issue with Vince and the WWE leading them down the path of more government controls and even going as far as to say it would be OK to test someone for a legal substance who is Not under investigation for anything. Flip Flopping at it's finest. tbone420 06-30-2007, 03:41 AM Everyone wins. Anal bead makers are suffering unnecessarily :D Heatherwiz 06-30-2007, 06:57 AM You mean like the way he's always done the interviews? Russ knows, he's old school. cesandrachel 06-30-2007, 07:56 AM cool! :btu: |
