The time I heard anyone having a flash-back is then there is a back or neck injury. I heard the acid builds up in your spinal fluid but I'm no doctor :D

Well the common "wisdom" is that it's fat-soluble and supposedly that's why you can have "flashbacks". I've never had one, though if that's true, it might explain why I felt like that after 3 days of no food. I still think flashbacks are bullshit tho.

After a billion hits of acid, the only thing I think that could ALMOST qualify as a "flashback" was the time I spent 3 days doin' coke and drinkin' and not eating anything. I was a mess afterwards and I felt like I was trippin'. Mighta just been shock from over-abuse tho. Takes a lot outa you if you don't eat ANYTHING all that time.

Truthfully you don't need the coke or alchohol, or the starving... after about 72 - 80 hours of no sleep the mind starts trying to compensate. Any downtime gets real trippy. Only way to stay sane after that long is physical activety. After so long without rest the eyes even begin to dilate slightly and become allot more sensative to light (tracers and the like)... Moral of the story is sleep depravation is just as good as 2 hits of blotter... but 2 hits of blotter get the job done allot quicker.

Well, we DID sleep, but it was 3 days of wakin' up with lines, partyin' till 3 or 4 in the morning, then chuggin' whiskey till we got to sleep. Wake up, repeat. It was a long weekend, with or without sleep. Garcia Band at Madison Square Garden and Brendan Byrne Arena.
