I was one of the guys flooding XM and Sirius with emails about Bubba while he was out of a gig... and I couldn't have been happier when he announced the new gig. I had XM before Sirius becasue of Bubba being on there, the only thing was, I'd only listen to Bubba in the morning, and shut the radio off for the rest of the day.... now with Sirius, it never gets shut off :cool: .... The only thing that I liked about Bubba being on hiatus was on BTLS.com, they had streaming best-of the show segments... As to the controversy, there's always gonna be Howard people who bash Bubba and vice versa. I think most people know the deal tho. Bubba says he owes Howard, so respect is paid there, and Howard's said many, many times that he loves Bubba and his show and thinks Bubba is tremendously talented, so respect is paid back in that direction too. If there's a perception of "charity" goin' on, I'm sure it's a minority.

Overall, I think both fanbases have blended pretty well. I know early on it was a little "iffy". Bubba's talked some trash about Howard in the past, and I'm sure Howard's done the same. Seems to have worked out pretty good tho. Each show has a unique flavor of its own, but there's definitely a kindred spirit between the two, imho.

I was buggin' the hell outta Jaeger a month or so ago about bumperstickers... I'd LOVE it if they'd start putting out some simple bumperstickers. I get so fucking sick of seeing all of the O&A WOW stickers on peoples' cars and wanna be able to represent the big guy!!! I think it would be great if they'd give them away free with any Bubba merchandise orders... Honestly, I think he's do pretty well with that. I'd even buy a shirt just to get the sticker, and I'm sure there would be plenty of others that would be more inclined to buy from his store if they knew they'd get a free bumpersticker. I was one of the guys flooding XM and Sirius with emails about Bubba while he was out of a gig... and I couldn't have been happier when he announced the new gig. I had XM before Sirius becasue of Bubba being on there, the only thing was, I'd only listen to Bubba in the morning, and shut the radio off for the rest of the day.... now with Sirius, it never gets shut off :cool: .... The only thing that I liked about Bubba being on hiatus was on BTLS.com, they had streaming best-of the show segments... It was fucking great, all the best clips from his show playing 24 hours a day... loved it.




I respect Bubba marks and their passion for the show. It's the same myself and all Howard fans.


Just saying Bubba is better with Howard than being on his own. Doing a free FM gimmick with restrictions would be lame.

Not to mention he would be reduced to local yokel radio in Tampa.
