I don't understand the logic in giving him 30 mill a year. Yes, he's a great player, but he hasn't won shit and chokes in the playoffs. And yes, he's having an MVP type season, but guess what, the Yankees are still 10 games back because pitching wins championships not one player. They should trade him for prospects and proven players, and maybe think about bullstering their bullpen considering it's horrendous. They'll still have a great lineup w/out him, and will be able to get some pitchers in return.
