Well, it's happened:

Joba Chamberlain has been called up and he will pitch tonight in relief of Rocket. Rumors are going around that Edwar Ramirez will be back up. Brian Bruney has been optioned to Scranton and if Ramirez comes up, it looks like Karstens will be sent down to SWB as well. Mike Myers was also DFA - so farwell mister oddpitchbastard. Hope to never see you again.

Giambi is back and Miguel Cairo has been DFA.

When Torre's toys are taken away from him (Proctor, Bruney, Myers, Farnsworth) then he'll stop using them.

A thread for a shitty bullpen, great whats next thread for your guys rotation?

Asking alot from Chamberlain moving him to the bullpen and expecting him to be your 7-8 inning man setting up for Rivera. We all know he has a great fastball, but can he locate his off speed pitchers. In the big leagues you can throw 96-98, but unless you can locate it great or throw your off speed pitches for strikes your going to get rocked. Just ask Farnsworth.

I think Chamberlain eventually will be a good closer or solid starter, but not every top prospect comes in and dominates. I wouldn't put him in the game with a 1-3 run lead tonight late in the game. Yankees better use him in the 6-7 or blow out games until he has a feel to pitch in the big leagues.
