these are the early pix i like for next week:
--oregon st. giving 3.5 to cincy
--nebraska giving 7.5 to wake forest
--ole miss getting six from missouri
--ucla giving seven to BYU
i can't imagine why oregon st. is only -3.5, i think that line is gonna go up. ole miss +6 from missouri is gray--they handled a much improved memphis team last week, plus it's in oxford. & UCLA is gonna roll over BYU.

A few I like where the lines look ridiculously off:

'bama -3.5 over Vandy (vandy is in their typical bottom -feeder SEC mode while Tide is improving with new renegade coach Saban experienced in this league)

wv -23.5 Marsh - the thundering herd is now a whimpering turd and i'm sure mountaineers look to solidify braggin rights in the hillbilly state, where marshall ruled thru the late 90s/early 2000s .
WV 50-14.

TULANE +6 missst - Toledo is always known for explosive torpedos in his offensive scheme, and this Bullshit, errr i mean Bulldog edition is pathetic once again and shouldnt be favored on the road to no one!

....i'm not sure i'm with you on Oregon State, as they have to travel cross country to Bearcats who are steadily improving and can be a player in the tuff Big East

Alabama - 3.5 over Vandy:

For reasons discussed in the previous post by Bubba

Auburn -7 over S. Florida :

Auburn at home for the second week in a row against a South Florida team that didn't put mighty Elon away until the 4th quarter last week.

Nebraska -7.5 over Wake Forest:

Wake mustered no ground game against BC and their QB is now out with an injury. Nebraska has a solid run attack with Marlon Lucky and an experienced QB in transfer Sam Keller.

W. Virginia -24 over Marshall:

They might have this covered by half-time.

Iowa -22 over Syracuse:

Syracuse laid down for Washington in the 3rd quarter last week in front of their home crowd at the Carrier Dome. Coach Robinson is clearly out the door sooner rather than later and I'll be stunned if the number in this game is still in doubt by the third quarter.

Air Force +8 over Utah:

Utah lost their starting RB and their starting QB at Oregon State last week and they couldn't muster much offense without them. Neither of them will play vs. Air Force this week. On top of that, the Utes showed no ability to stop Oregon State's running attack, even though the Beav's passing game was inconsistent at best.

Michigan -8 over Oregon

Oregon's defense struggled vs. Houston last week at home (they were outgained in total yardage, rushing yardage and 1st downs) and they're going to struggle more vs. Michigan.

Season to date record: 2 - 0 (I had Clemson and Texas Tech)

Alabama looked good and I like them too.

Watch out for South Florida they were my sleeper team this year and Auburn barely beat Kansas St.

I agree with Nebraska and West Virginia.

-22 is alot of points and Syracuse looked like shit, but Iowa didn't look like a team I would give 22 points to another team as they looked average vs. Northern Illinois.

Got no opinion on Air Force haven't seen them play.

I like Michigan after getting beat by a Div 1 AA team they should blow out Oregon.

The games I like this week are:

Rutgers -16 vs. Navy
West Virginia -23.5 at Marshall
Michigan -8 vs. Oregon
Penn St. -17 vs. ND
UCLA -7 vs. BYU
TCU +9.5 at Texas - Actually like TCU to win outright if Blake starts.

Anybody know the over/under for Virginia Tech and LSU?

this is one that i overlooked that i think you're on the right track w/, =Crazy. TCU will play Texas alot tougher than they're being given credit for. I would love to see TCU beat them outright, but i don't know if TCU is quite there yet.
