“The Ultimate Fighter 6” cast member Matt Arroyo will join the “Bubba the Love Sponge Show” each Thursday afternoon on Sirius Satellite Radio to discuss the previous night’s episode of the Spike TV reality series.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) learned of Arroyo’s scheduled appearances from a Sirius representative.

“The Ultimate Fighter 6” premieres Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 11 p.m. and features current UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra and former champ Matt Hughes as coaches. Subsequent episodes of the show air Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Arroyo (2-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a veteran of the Real Fighting Championships organization, trains with the Gracie Tampa camp. Bubba’s producer, Brent Hatley, also trains at the facility.

During the past season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” cast member and fellow Gracie Tampa student Allen Berube appeared on the radio program to discuss each episode. Ironically, Berube lost in the season’s first episode, and he was sort of a punching bag for Bubba and his staff throughout the season.

The MMAjunkie.com team attended a party hosted by FIGHT! Magainze while in Las Vegas for UFC 74. Arroyo, who was in attendance, assured us that this latest season of the show is just as dramatic and over-the-top as the teasers and previews make it out to be.

The “Bubba the Love Sponge Show” is a big proponent of MMA and oftentimes has UFC fighters as guests

Anyone that thinks nascar\racing talk is boring as hell....
I feel the same way about the mma\ufc jabroneys who talk on Bubba's show.
(those the mma\ufc talk segments are usually twice as long too)
Snoozefest Magillicuty........ :sleepin: :sleepin: :sleepin:

I listen at work, and those mma/ufc or nascar segments are perfect for a piss break...or 12!

I wonder where this puts Dr. Mark? Unless they will have both guests on Thurs.

I guess I don't mind it once in a while if it's relevant. Say, after a major UFC event? I don't give a fuck about reality tv or shows where people get 'voted off'. And on the bottom of that list is a UFC-based reality show.

I know what you mean...I pick my nose when they talk Crazy Cooter Nascar stuff.

Way to lose a good chunk of the audience.

It happens though....can't please everyone!

I think the MMA talk is way better than that Nascar bullshit. No more Babalu, what a dumb ass

I guess it depends on what you're into, but I love most of the UFC stuff and find most of the NASCAR bits BORING. How can you not like Babalu and Sera, even if you're not into MMA?

MMA discussion is always great as long as they are talking to someone informed and into the program (Goldberg, Tito, etc.)

Matt's a real good guy. I got to hang with him for a while out at the Abu Dhabi submission grappling world championships a few months ago. I'm really looking forward to the new TUF season... I think he's gonna be a real threat. The guy is a blue-chip grappler and has got a big reach, so he should do pretty well. Hopefully Rob will get on here soon and give everyone a little insight into his training and fight resume.

rather than be all talk talk,

it would be cooler if they talked about the ways they go about getting to number 1, thru demonstration, or whatever. i love them parts with the mma dudes, nascar no clue.

rather listen to that than who would beat who

I just don't want to pay 40 bucks a month to see the good fighters. I'd try and get into it, but I can't afford that.
Tapout is a fun show, though.

That's an easy fix... get 10 guys to bring beer and 5 bucks a head, get drunk, watch fights, have the fights paid for AND have and extra 10 bucks to lose in the poker game after the fights!!!

I'm sure you have a great place there...its just 5 months of Brent constantly talking about his rugged MMA training has already Burned Gracie Tampa into our brains...

If it helps I turn the channel when the UFC Informercials with Mike Goldberg come on too
