Widget & I received a call Saturday morning from Eric. He said we should come meet him at the Patriot in Manhattan. It's a bar on Church St between Chinatown & Ground Zero. Jessica, the girl who recently threw up on Jeff Levy, is the bartender there. It was nice out so we said what the hell, dropped the top and took a drive into the city.[hr]
Eric was really nice and excited about Vegas. We played darts and drank beers while discussing how great next week is going to be. Jessica took really good care of us. We walked down through Chinatown and Eric posed for this picture at one of the fish markets. He wouldn't go in any further fearing I'd shove him into the fish, but he was a sport no the less. Eric gets a bad rap, and gets a little confused at times, but he's a nice guy.

He says it's the fish eyes that bug him out. He doesn't mind eating fish, or live fish in a tank, just dead fish with the head on. :) Ironically we went out for all you can eat Sushi afterwords. He made me promise we'd go again in Vegas.

Eric says, he misses his limo and asked me to get this one for him. what a kook. We had fun shopping for bootleg purses with Eric. I know that sounds gay, but hell I'm the negotiator. You have to haggle.

We found Eric some Bling Bling for Vegas. I got the guy down from $25 to $10, but Eric said it was still too high. Several people walking or driving by stopped to say hi to him. The people that recognized were really excited. He posed for some pictures with people and then we made our way back to the Patriot.

By the way, we walked by ground zero and for those of you not from the area, they've rebuilt the train station. it was very nice. I didn't feel right taking a picture though. The whole place is still a torist trap with people poising next to the big hole. If they didn't look like they were having such a good time, maybe it wouldn't so bad.
