I would like to thank everyone in the Stern forum who made Bubba fans feel so welcome. Most of us are fans of both shows. Perhaps something good can come from all of this and we can enjoy both shows together. After all we are one big site with a common goal, enjoying the shows we love.

I was wondering, did Mutt require Howards permission to run a Fan site for the show? If not, Mutt should re-open the Bubba forum. I can understand Bubba & the crew getting upset about recent actions but the entire forum shouldn't have to suffer because of it. They've stated plenty of times that they were never coming back to the forum anyway, so I don't see a reason to kill it. Just a thought. Guess we'll have to carry on in THIS forum & enjoy Bubbas show for now.

Mutt is often put in an impossible situation. I think he is trying to do what is best for the fans, the shows and the site. I feel we should stand behind him and ride the storm out.

I never could understand the whole "Im such a huge fan of you that I have to hurt you in some fashion" mentality. Its like those people that kill stars cause theyre such fans. It makes no sense. I honestly doubt that Bubba would give a fuck about any of our SFN supporter donations.

I really enjoy the interaction with the show but maybe the break will be good for the BRN. I said it yesterday....this tail wagging the dog situation with the board is not what the show should be about.

I need to say that between the Joey Boots drama and this stuff with Bubba, Mutt is a freaking saint. He has acted responsably and with good judgment. I think Bubba is overreactng and painting with a broad brush. Greddy should be punished to the fullest extent of the law and should be excommunicated from the Bubba Army and SFN. Still Bubba should look at everything the forum has done for him. From Brook Hogan on VH1 to having an intelligent compassionate discussion about Nick Hogan's tragic situation. While gen chatters were doing photo shops of the car and calling for Nick to be thrown in jail, we were praying for him. Bubba is now throwing us out into the cold.

Sadly, I think that this goes beyond Big Dick. Bubba wants this forum closed because he has no more use for it. On testicular radio its the advertisers they need to impress not the subscribers. I love the BRN and the show, but this whole thing is a slap in the face of a group of his most dedicated fans.

In my humble opinion shutting down the darkside is more about showing Bubba that we are sorry, and that we acknowledge that this was one of our own. It is a way to show remorse via conformity. Some of us are die hard fans (not saying I'd take the fish-hooks or the shock collar for any of you sick fucks), and as such want more than anything for Bubba and the guys to see that this affects all of us (the BRN in a way more fundamental way)...

In a real fucked up way, it's a way for us to share the pain of the event (god knows this bright ass page is pain to my eyes)...

I'm kinda glad Bubba is being a little more gracious. Yesterday he was kinda coming sounded like he does need us. I really love the show it its almost a slap in the face to hear that. I glad it sounds like things have cooled off a bit.

I just feel that closing the BTLS forum is a huge mistake. The one section that was 99% pro-bubba was that subsection.
