When do you think they will sell them out? Are you getting one? I hope to wait and hear some reviews before I drop three hundred bucks on one, just looking for your opinions.

I wonder if the show members could show pics of their hands before and after signing 3000 photos. Holy crap that's got to be painful. Writing even a page by hand is brutal enough.

I think all the goodies that they are throwing in with it is great.

I'm still getting over a divorce, and have had a lot of other side shit go on lately and am in a terrible financial state. I set aside money in my budget to buy one Nov 1st.

Then the pre-order deal came out. Fuck!!!! I figured I'd be o.k.

From the sounds of things last week, they were selling like hotcakes and soon to be sold out (70% sold out at the time was what was said, up from the previous days 60% figure), and Bubba expected to be out of them in another week. Which is this week.

So, I decided I better grab one fast, at any cost. I have enough body fat to go without any food for a while :D

I might have to go without power for a while, but I should be able to afford power by the time I get my box set, and that is all that counts.... :D

According to the cart feature, there were about 1300 left when I bought mine on the weekend. I should have checked that out before I ordered mine, I guess. I checked again last night, there werer 1263 left. Right now, the cart shows 1244 left for sale.

59% sold out right now, 19 sold in the last 24 hours according to my math.

Fuck... I could have waited till next payday. Hell, I probably could have waited till Christmas.

Either Bubba got bamboozled by the merch staff, or Bubba bamboozled me.

So, in summary, I have a box set locked in jones. I might not be able to afford heat or power for a bit, but the forecast is for warm weather anyways, and i know how to build an igloo if the forcast changes, so it is a win-win all around

By definition, in Carnie and Wrestling talk a Mark is a sucker who falls for anything and buys all the merch. They make us think the word is a good thing, but I'm sure they laugh at us for thinking so.

Scales, now why would Bubba try to bamboozle us. He's only going off the information he receives based on daily sales and daily projections. I'm sure Bubba look at first week or two of sales and made the assumption they'll be gone by the end of the month. Remember though his initial thoughts or bets I should say was the box set would take a couple months to sell out. Either way way you should be happy you got one. I myself have a tough time parting with $300. I'm like Spice-Stein.

I was wondering. You know how it says each box set it autographed? Is that preprinted like the autographs they were discussing on Mondays show or will they have to autograph each set when they come in? I wonder who's going to get the pic with the Bubba horns and the dot from the exclamation point in the mouth. That should be like a lottery pic.

That is a good question Clarko2.

I have heard that the propped up figures might be to get us all worked up into buying one quickly For a few reasons.

I've heard he may want to use it as leveraging power, to show Corporate or the Competition how much influence and marketing power he has.

I have also heard that the pre-sale is to fund the whole project, so that no out of pocket expenses are incurred. People in the know seem to figure that it would take less than 100 sales to pay for the whole project, and every sale after that would be pure profit.

I've also heard that is the reason behind the BK stacker deal, to show his influence on the general public to use as leverage in a deal.

Not like the Big Ox deal, who's sticker he has had on his race car like a sponsor, before he ever mentioned the product on air, which he does every Friday.

The original plan was to start shipping the pre-orders on Nov 1.

From the conversation between Big Dick and Bubba, I think they migh be getting the screw around. I think maybe from the manufacturer. Just a guess on my part. 2.5 weeks was mentioned, maybe possibly perhaps that is how far the manufacturer is behind on the order.... maybe.

If that is the case, I imagine Bubba is pissed.

Yeah, I got impatient even before I ordered one, afraid I wouldnt' get one.

But if there is a delay out of their control, I have to feel sorry for them. And especially anyone inbetween Bubba and that Company - whoever is working with them.

I'm just gonna be glad I got one locked in, and not bitch about any delay. That sucks for all involved, but it sucks more for them, I feel their pain.

How so? Why would they care? (other than having to answer 800 calls/emails about "where is my k5?" They've already been paid.

I was on the fence for quite a while as I really wanted one, but have cut out all unnecessary expenses (other than sirius, bubba raw) to buy a new home in spring.

I did the cool/uncool thing and said screw it.......I ordered one. It's going to take forever to listen to them all, so I am in no huge hurry to have it show up. I then had my home computer take a shit, and some other unseen expenses pop up this week to the tune of a grand or so. I want a damn stiletto too!!!!!

How so? Why would they care? (other than having to answer 800 calls/emails about "where is my k5?" They've already been paid.

Because fans will be waiting for them, and Bubba really cares about his fans.

Also, think of the logistics of recieving and sending out 2500 box sets. Any idea how much time those willl take to box up? Or how much room they take just sitting there?

I'm sure the tension around the studio will be high enough based on the above, than to have a bunch of people start bitching about it.

I kind of feel bad about the past bitching about the pre-orders deal like I did now.

But coming from me, I hope it causes people not to bitch. For those wondering if they should get one, or thought they couldn't because they would be sold out. There are just over 1000 for sale, momentum will pick up before xmas, and once people get them and start marking out to them they will be all gone, very quicklly. So don't decide not to get one so quickly, chances are you will have time to save up to get one.

In all the new pics of guests they put up in the btls site you can see all the boxes ready to go. It is good to see that they are really prepared for when they do come....

Another thing that is making me want it soon is that they are offering everything now on iTunes and i have listen to all the previews and some of the songs are awesome ....

I know I paid for FedEx shipping but now I remember hearing that they cut a deal with UPS...iI wonder how much of that $18 bucks for FedEx Jones was pocketed?

The 18 bucks for delivery is probably been put towards UPS, maybe UPS cut them a better deal.

I think it'll be totally worth it. I just can't get enough of this show.

In my case, I knew about three weeks before I finally manned up and bought one that I'd be getting it. Every time I heard a commercial for it, I realized more and more that I just couldn't NOT buy it.

Despite the lateness in the delivery, the guys have been awesome about it, too. I E-Mailed the show this morning with some questions about the deal, and Big Dick was quick to respond and incredibly helpful. I live in Toronto and I'm having it mailed to the States to get around the whole customs deal. I was hoping it would arrive by this Friday so my brother could bring it up to me this weekend, but I'm probably going to have to wait until after Thanksgiving, to get it, but it's worth the wait.

I'm sure it'll get there in one piece, Oval, but you might have to pay a lot - and I mean a LOT - of money for duty. I've gotten $100 worth of stuff from the States before and I had to pay something like $15 for Duty.

It's just a rough deal for Canadian listeners because the box set is so friggin' much more expensive when you take duty into account.

It would be funny if a Canadian listener became a Bubba bootlegger. We could get all the K-5's shipped to a US address, and somebody could drive them up to Canada and mail them from there in order to negate the massive duty.

But, you know, that would technically be illegal, so...

As anyone on here got the email that says that theirs has been shipped?

My understanding is that the item was delayed because of some mix-up with UPS, but they were being cryptic about it on-air. According to the Thursday show, we should get them in 7 to 10 days (probably longer for you), which means they're probably sending them out early next week.

How much do you think duty will be on the box set? I saskatchewan, between GST, and PST I figured those would tack on an extra $40 - but am not sure what to expect for duty.

I'm just glad our dollar is doing so good. 6 years ago just ordering the box set would have cost us $480 instead of the $300 it costs now.

It will be interesting to see how those of us from different provinces get fucked over on duty and taxes more than others. I"m glad mine wont' have a chance to get here before next payday, i'm gonna have to set some money aside.

I thought I heard on today's show (friday) that they are getting them a couple at a time. the thing is that they aren't getting them in no paticular order. I think they are waiting for the whatever number you are suppose to get to arrive and from that point on they are sending them out.
