Hello TSS....Ive been browsing on this forum for about 30 minutes and it seems you knoe EVERYTHING related to Sirius products......!!!!

I need your help with my Stiletto 100 that i just bought...

1) I cant connect to my Wi Fi....i hot the propr buttons, it asks for the password, which i enter and it just searches, searches, and searches...then nothing! Whats the deal??

2) i hooked it up in my car and all i get is static! I had the S-50 and it was static free...now the Stiletto 100 is all static! Im going to Best Buy tomorrow to have them install it for me and they will add the FM connector...will this solve the problem of static???

I can take a swing at this until TSS shows up. The SL100 will only connect to 802.11b routers unlike the SL2 which will connect to 802.11b and g. So if your router is a 11g that's your problem, if it's 11b keep trying connect it after taking out the battery and letting it reboot. As far as the static, if you have an Aux-In on your car stereo you can directly connect it this way with much better audio than an FM transmitter. If you don't have this go to TSS and grab an FM relay (I think it's called) that will improve your static problem.

i have no clue how to check my connection and router....any advice??? also, im taking the S100 plus the car kit to Best Buy on Tuesday to get installed...( i tried myself and all i got was static) Im hoping the original car kit has the FM relay to improve the static as you mentioned....

Hey sorry, I haven't looked in here for a bit.

It could be a "g" or "b" issue but I think you also may want to explore another option.

When you connect to your wireless network with your stiletto, you have to enter a password. You can enter your password as normal and then, instead of selecting "connect now," choose "enter hex keyboard" This will take you to another area where you enter letters and numbers. You'll need to find the hex key for your router.

You should be able to find this on the same screen where you change the password information for your router.
