My antenna took a crap yesterday, I was dreading spending another 35-40 bucks at best buy for an antenna. I went to walmart they had el cheapo sirius car kit for 28 bucks bought it and replaced the antenna for about 10 bucks cheaper(same antenna at best buy online for 39.99). Thought this might be a help for anyone that needs a new antenna.

same thing happened here in both of my cars. Good news was that I took the first car to bestbuy and they fixed just a connector somehow related to the power source not the antenna and that did the trick...it was covered under the "lifetime warranty" on the installation even though the radio was a couple years old. I'm going to see if that's what is wrong with the other one too. The guy said that the docks go out more often than antenna's on the sportster replay. If you want a cheeper source for antenna's check out ebay, they typically go for under $20 bucks with shipping. Hope this helps, frustrating isn't it?

If you have older radio, and can find a kit that is cheap like that it's a no-brainer. The other parts will help you out if anything else craps out.
Keep the rest as backup.
I woke up this moring with my two receivers showing signal strentgh coming and going. With this condition it makes it very tough to listen. I went to bed without any problems and have never had this problem. With two receivers doing the same thing and no weather problems here in Arizona there must be a problem with the satelite transmission. Anybody have problems this morning?

I'm having the same problem here in NJ, and I thought it was my Sportster. Guess not.
