Chob 11-29-2007, 07:27 AM I thought maybe that would be a streaming audio site for his new show or something. Wishful thinking.... Looks like mostly ringtones, wallpapers, and videos. Hopefully today he will reveal something else :D CHU 11-29-2007, 08:39 AM I keep picturing the scene from "Half Baked" in which Scarface quits the fast food restaurant and, if they leave, would find it hilarious if Bubba ended his Sirius run in that manner. Xxq_TZ_pxX 11-29-2007, 08:42 AM I keep picturing the scene from "Half Baked" in which Scarface quits the fast food restaurant and, if they leave, would find it hilarious if Bubba ended his Sirius run in that manner. Dont think mobubba is a Bubba owned site. gocakron 11-29-2007, 09:08 AM Looks like mostly ringtones, wallpapers, and videos. May of been developed in case Sirius didn't re-sign??? May be part of the problem, because its a revenue stream and therefore Sirius wanting to control content, etc. But the site is fairly new based on domain registration. In and out this week. And I'll be in Florida all of next week for work. Wish I was going to be closer to Tampa and try to find any of the guys at the strip joints or something. :( Ned'sTesticles 11-29-2007, 09:31 AM Hey Fancy Pants? Any orders from the general yet? hey brother :hw: ... haven't heard anything solid yet. I dunno man, that ship may have already sailed. I honestly still think that Sirius is simply pushing him out. I just couldn't imagine them making the negotiations any tougher on him. He excelled way beyond their expectations, so they offer him less money???... And when Bubba says okay to less money, they argue content and distribution??? I just don't know man... I'm really hoping that we get some huge surprise, that they finally do re-sign them, BUT... I don't want Bubba to have to eat a plate of shit to pull it off either. I'd rather see Bubba in some other form of distribution than see him continue a relationship with a company that obviously doesn't appreciate him, and possibly doesn't want him. It's a pretty sad situation. Ned'sTesticles 11-29-2007, 09:32 AM Morning NT. That's awesome. I haven't seen that movie since I was a kid. "...tell them Large Marge sent ya.... I'll find a way to listen they should do what they need and when Sirius calls in a few years when Howard is in the Hamptons all the time then make them cough up the money big time, If my job wanted me to make less money next year I'd quit shouldn't be any different CHU 11-29-2007, 09:36 AM "...tell them Large Marge sent ya.... I'd rather see Bubba in some other form of distribution than see him continue a relationship with a company that obviously doesn't appreciate him, and possibly doesn't want him. It's a pretty sad situation. Perhaps I'm too objective yet (and hopeful it works out), but Bubba said he agreed to less money, right. My hopes are that Bubba may take less $$, but Brent, Spice, Manson and others would be paid by Sirius, instead of being paid by Bubba. That would leave Bubba to less overhead cost, allowing him to take less pay and still be alright financially. But, I'm probably looking into something that isn't there. I do believe that the hang up right now is over creative control. We probably won't know until it's all said and done, if the details are released then. Heres to a good show where we will hopefully learn our fate, and made up questions answered by Dr. Mark emtfromny2 11-29-2007, 10:30 AM http://www.sternfannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=315894 Hogan is fucked now..and rightly so. glasskitchen 11-29-2007, 10:36 AM As much as I'd hate to see Bubba go, if he's having to take less money and still be censored. He might as well go get paid on Terrestrial for the same censorship. Just hope that there's an Internet feed so we call can still get our daily Bubba fix. Unfortunately, that's the way I see it too. The only thing that they would need to do is cut out the obscenities. There has been nothing on the show for the last 6 months that couldn't be aired on terrestrial. Nothing I can think of anyway. In fact, there are things that have been nixed by Sirius that would be fine on regular radio. Homeless men can't drink beer.. right. This has really made me consider ditching Sirius. Had it two years before Howard came, listened to Air America mainly. Now that's gone, and with Bubba gone, there isn't much of a point. mkriss5681 11-29-2007, 11:03 AM :hw: Afternoon Miller 11-29-2007, 11:14 AM 6_ac_d4psyc That's it. Hey girl, you hungry? If it truly isn't worth the money to you anymore, which may be my case, then by all means cancel. And make sure you tell them why. My point is, that by the time Dec. 21 rolls around, a new deal will be in place and he'll be out the door. I doubt Sirius will come begging to have him back. Bubba will already be in place somewhere else. May be too little too late. pokerstar 11-29-2007, 02:08 PM Howdy fucken do mkriss5681 11-29-2007, 02:09 PM ZX475TI, JeremyPGH & bryanrules0000 :hw: Xxq_TZ_pxX 11-29-2007, 02:09 PM i thought Howard Stern got the highest FCC fine of 2.2 million.. but bubba says his was the highest of 750,000 am i missing something?
