I was planning on heading down to Jacksonville this weekend to watch the Tigers. Thanks to our Offensive Coordinator I had to cancel my plans.

hey whites, you win today, are you going to New Orleans? i highly recommend for a national championship, but when i went, it was pre-Katrina. post-Katrina, maybe things are a little bit cheaper. Harrah's, wooo hooo!!!

IF WVU wins..and I know it is still a big IF. I am either going to go to NO for the game or go to Vegas for the game.

I have been to NO pre Katrina also and loved it, but for that weekend of the national championship the prices are crazy inside the city. A room at Harrahs for that Monday night 1/7 is going for $650.

That why I figured going to Vegas could be a good #2 and watch the game in the sportsbook.

But come on man, you gotta be on the Mountaineers. They run a great program and you gotta root for the little guy!

i'll root for wvu to win it all if these other teams like LSU and mizzou win. otherwise i'm rooting for an improbably nationcal championship. :tu:

We lost a shit game to GT (13-3) earlier in the year that killed us. What made it worse was that was the same weekend as the last week of baseball. Let's just say I was ready to jump off a bridge that Sunday. We should have beaten BC two weeks ago but some bad play calling blew the game and our 14th ACC title hopes.

We'll probably play in the Chick-fil-a (aka Peach) Bowl here in ATL if BC loses this game. BC will fall in bowl selection if they don't go to the Orange Bowl. The fact that they will bring about 500 fans to the game doesn't help there chances anywhere.

bc never dominated. yea, they moved the ball into tech territory 5 times, but they got 1 td out of that. that's just inept. you need a finishing blow. that would bother me... and rightfully so, b/c they lost convincingly at the end.

thing is in SEC, controlling the game means nothing if the score is close.

But the BCS Guru projects that Ohio State and LSU, two teams that occupied the top spot of the BCS standings for much of the season, will meet in New Orleans in the BCS national championship game.

Ohio State will be a comfortable No. 1 against LSU, which will edge out Virginia Tech (No. 3) and Georgia (No. 4) and Oklahoma (No. 5) for the spot. The Tigers' early-season rout of the Hokies, and the victory over a Tennessee team that blew out Georgia should put them over the top.
