1 & 2 lose, so 3 & 4 move up to the championship game. i think it's that easy. Georgia and Ohio State--it'll be a great game. way better than some missouri/WVU game.

Ohio St and LSU

LSU's 2 losses were both in 3 OT games and they won their Conference Champ Game

it will probably be Ohio State and Georgia, but Kansas should also be considered since they only have the one loss also.

Kansas played one semi-good team (no GOOD teams the whole season and lost. if Hawaii beats Washington tonight, i would say they deserved it more than Kansas. If it's not Georgia, you would have to think it would be LSU.

try 48-7 and that was way back in September.

Gonna be Georgia and Ohio State. Should be? Pick from the following: Ohio State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, Missouri, Kansas, USC, or LSU.

BCS bullshit system more exposed this year than ever (with exception of Auburn's shutout with no losses).

AH HA!! You would think it's that easy, but it's not!!

Georgia doesn't get to play for the NC, they can't even win their division, let alone their conference.

Based on what you say, you believe LSU should play OSU.

winning the conference championship shouldn't matter to the BCS rankimgs. we're looking for the best teams in college--not the best teams whole also won their conference. Hawaii could win their conference and be undefeated, so why shouldn't they go instead of LSU or Va tech.

I'm sad to say it's probably LSU.

yeah but they only lost to Missouri. you could say the same about Ohio State. if Illinois hadn't lost 6-10 to Iowa they would have won the Big 10. but still would have been ranked below Ohio State.

Tell that to USC who watched Oklahoma get in after losing their conference, then lost to LSU in the '03 BCS game. That's why it likely won't happen again.

but you can't say that... since they (Illinois) lost.

No way, not with 2 loses. Lose once you had a bad day and can make the excuse, lose twice and the only way you should play for the title is if there is a playoff and you get there int he playoffs, or if everyone or all but one also have 2 loses.

LSU is the best 2 loss team, however that should not put them into the title game.

Both in triple OT, and they're conference champs. How they lost will matter.

I do think that you should have to take recent performance into account. LSU lost 2 weeks ago to an unranked team. Georgia beat 3 ranked teams in the last 5 weeks. LSU BARELY beat a 4 loss team to win their conference...

Being an Ohio State fan I will now agree with you for one reason. I would rather play LSU.

you're a fool if you'd rather play LSU. LSU lost to an unranked Arkansas team, that would beat the piss outta 3/4's of the big 10. this conference isnt a joke. and they beat a 3 LOSS team to win the conference championship game... giving them a fourth loss. btw, one of those tennessee losses was the opener against a high powered Cal team that started the season well. again, tennessee would piss on the big 10.

OSU couldn't beat UT in Knoxville. Just sayin

fuck top 8 and playoffs!!! these conference championship games should be the preliminary rounds of the playoffs. then you have the pac10, big12, big10, sec, acc, bigeast, and two at large conference winners. shorten the outta conference season games up, and make the at large conference champions play each other one or two weeks earlier than. wac vs. mountain west. mac vs. conference usa, etc... let them duke it out early november for their conference titles.

the sec was amazing this year, and highly entertaining. i'm gonna be sad when now that i can't tune into any more sec games this year.

look what lsu did to vatech, albeit they were still all fucked up coming back to school after the shooting, but still, it was almost as ugly as the shooting itself.

you could easily make that argument! two loss teams in major conferences.

maybe it's time to screw over USC, since Auburn got screwed coming out of the SEC years ago.

this year the SEC was clearly the best in college football. look at their overall records, look at how they play, both sides of the football, every point is earned. the shootouts are a result of the triple OTs you mentioned.

it crazy man!!!

Ohio State and LSU

LSU gets a boost by beating ANOTHER top 20 team.

When teams lose shouldn't matter only who they lose to and who they beat and how bad.

I wish they would have a +1 game at least. Forget about a 16 team playoff, that will never happen.
