Ever since his sentencing people have been speculating as to why he never really fought the charges. It begs the question: Why was a guy like that fucking with drug-dealers in the 1st place? Remember the drug activity in the house is what got the ball rolling with all of this. Is it possible Mike was in over his head living out his little gangster/rapper fantasies thinking he could make dough on top of what he had and not touch anything. Maybe he was fucking with some heavy southern Black Mafia Family dudes and they made him an "offer he can't refuse". They told him to take the hit so the govt. got their rocks off and has no reason to dig any deeper. Sounds a little out there but it could be possible.
