First off, don't get me wrong, I LOVE the SK5A. Well worth the money.

HOWEVER, I believe Bubba said "no repeats." There's at least one...the Afro-American Pie bit is on two CDs, isn't it? Not a huge issue, though.

Secondly, does anyone else have Bubba Raw Part 1, or any CDs, with a slightly messed-up label? It looks like it stuck to itself during the "sticking on" process. There's actually a bump, and you can see that the label is uneven. At first, I thought the CD was snapped in two, but thankfully it wasn't. If it matters any, I have #2042. I remember Bubba saying that a few of the box sets had various problems associated with them, but these weren't sold, right?

Third issue... A few of the tracks "blend in" to the next track. For example, the end of "If You're Irish Then Fuck You" ends with Bubba picking up the phone and saying "Hello? which is actually the beginning of the next track. This makes listening to things really interesting.

Finally, just out of curiousity, what do the original CDs look like? Same black label with the BTLS logo or different?

Did you buy it off ebay or btls.com? The third issue usually happens if you copy the cd on your own PC...

You can find the album artwork online if you look for the CD's on ebay. I would've liked the original album artwork to be included somehow, like maybe being included in the booklet. But that's really the only complaint I had. There's so much great stuff in there and I still haven't listened to it all.

It seems like all of Bubba's albums do that.

I bought it off BTLS.com, then used iTunes to copy it into my iPod.

I think the "bleeding" issue happens on the actual CDs as well...I may have to go back and check it. It makes me think that it's sloppy work in the manufacturing department.

I found the original album artwork...What do the original CDs themselves look like?? That was the question.

I would have liked to have the original artwork for the CDs, but hey overall it is a kickass collection.

you may just have a crossfade gimmick set up on the ipod which is doing the "blend" for u.

I hate that and have shut it off. But the tracks still do run into one another on the CDs.

Chob is right. It's not a blend. It's gotta just be sloppy editing/producing on someone's part.

On the actual CDs, some of the tracks work like this:

Track 10 ends.... The sound for track 11 starts... Track 10 gets to 0:00.. Track 11 starts fresh.

As you can imagine, this makes listening on iPods somewhat "interesting", to say the least.

I have #807 and have similar problems after downloading to iTunes. Oh well.

Hopefully uploading the stuff to iTunes will eliminate the issue of tracks bleeding over to the next track.

It would suck to download a few tracks, get the end of the previous track, and not get the end of the track you downloaded.

Someone's gotta have heat with Bubba if that happens.
