That is fast as shit. He should be the #1 pick.

That's extremely fast for a man his size, but it would be a stretch for a running back to go #1 in today's NFL. Successful teams aren't building their franchises around running backs.

Yeah, McFadden is quality. He's probably top five to seven. Jake Long is gonna go high, maybe top two. He's a beast.

you've obviously never watched a down of college football if you compare him to reggie bush... McFadden runs around, away and through people like adrian peterson, he might not be as good as peterson, but neither is 95% of the running backs in the NFL, so it's not that bad of a knock...

Chargers seem to be doing alright with it.

i could see some team trading up with Miami for the first pick and selecting McFadden. the Seahawks do need a running back. :bigthink:

Bush as in bust. Skinny legs, won't last. Hope Dallas moves up to get him.

I also don't think McFadden will be that great in the pros and I think it's dumb to waste such a high pick on a running back considering it's such a passing league now and you can get a solid back in the later rounds.

more importantly, McFadden knocked up 2 women who are both due with his children this summer. Bye bye signing bonus. RBs can be found deeper in the draft.

I'm sure at least one of these women thought they were getting a meal ticket by getting knocked up by McFadden, not realizing knocking up 3 women is gonna ring alarm bells with teams in regards to character issues and drop him several slots costing him millions...so, literally these women really screwed him....still as a Jets fan I'd still take him at our pick( and make him invest some of his signing bonus in condoms or other forms of birth control), the Jets fuck up eneogh 1st round picks,(Dwayne Robertson, now available for trade, countless others)....what's another?

40 times are the most overrated stat in the combine. All you need to do is watch McFadden play and you know he is fast and will be a great RB. What's the point of making DT run the 40 time all they do is make a couple of steps at the QB. I heard some guy say Ellis stock dropped because he had a shitty 40 time like that matters. If you look at these combine superstars like Matt Jones they usually don't do shit in the NFL.

You can't compare McFadden to Bush at all as McFadden is a true RB and will be a Top 5 RB for many years. I would rate McFadden just as good as Peterson and he doesn't have the injury label.
