This morning Howard was talking about King Norris on Fuse TV and played a clip of the band. It reminded me that I needed to tell you all that King Norris is appearing with The Killer of Comedy for the first time at the House of Blues in AC on Friday March 28th.

How can any area fan miss this opportunity? it's Fred Norris & his band opening up for Reverend Bob Levy, Shuli, Sal "the stockbroker" Governale, Richard Christy, Yucko the Clown, Beetlejuice, Mike Morse, The Iron Sheik, & Riley Martin. WOW!! What a lineup.

The manager of the club called and said that there will be an official after party in the Foundation Room. That's that cool back bar we partied in last time. Access to the after party will of course be limited but they are giving me 6 tickets to the show to giveaway and these come with after party passes!!! If you want tickets, start begging.

Don't hold out hope for the freebies though, it's only $31 for reserved seats or $27 for standing room. I've done it both ways at this venue and it's all good. The standing room tickets are still pretty damn close to the stage and you won't have to worry about being stuck in a crowd. the place is huge. Grab your tickets now and if you win the freebies, BONUS. Bring a friend and keep the private party passes for yourself. :)

I've been there to see cake, the counting crows, buckcherry, dierks bentley, the killer of comedy, and others. I've always had a great time. i love this venue and honestly can never turn down an excuse to go there.

I thought Fred was great on Fuse. Did anyone have a problem with the sound? Not the King Norris band itself, but the FUSE network. I thought they could have had a better sound for Fred. It kept fading in and out. Anyone else have that??

The problem with AC, besides the fact that it's a giant shit hole, is you can't fly directly there from Boston. I had to fly from Providence to Philly, then take a train ride from hell to A.C. and then a shuttle to the hotel. And once there, I couldn't find any beer for the hotel room so I ventured off the boardwalk to the neighborhood liquor store. I almost didn't make it back alive. The House of Blues is nice though.

That being said, I would do it again for a KOC show.

After party is in the foundation room. If you have a Harrah's rewards card you probably got 2 free passes for the Foundation Room in the mail. That's all you need to after party access. The one I have is a coupon good now till May 31st. I won't be able to get you all passes but maybe some of you already have them and didn't know. If you no longer need party passes, let me know.

I was at a concert in Philly and in between bands I checked my email on the off chance I won - I couldn't believe what I was reading at first!!

if you have general admission tickets, the area to the left of the stage between the stage & the bar is a good spot to hang. not only can you see & hear the show, it's not the big of an area so finding each other is easy. plus it doesn't hurt that it's only steps from the bar. can't wait to see you all. looking forward to another fun night out with the gang.
