Good Lord this is hilarious! I guess Hogan doesn't realize that he is not very good at Bubba Speak. :giggle: Nick will get in trouble at the jail for this because the jails do not allow coded speech on the calls. Gang members try this alot and always get caught. If Nick loses his jail calls privilege this will get real interesting. BTW...have a good time at the high profile meeting at the jail where Nick's release will be discussed, and you should be able to go Hulkster because there should be no media.

Here is some free advice...WRITE LETTERS!!! They are reviewed by jail staff but are not released to the media. Just as intrusive but far less embarrasing.

Yeah, the wrestling lingo like Double Bluejay and gimmick, but the carney talk actually does come from old time carnival workers. Bubba started this speech pattern when he was doing small-time wrestling in the area years ago, but he developed it into a twisted art form over the years. I think that became "Bubba Speak".

The Bolleas are really bad at speaking this language. Basically they are saying that the mother is meeting with the lawyers at the jail in the effort to get Baby Nicky into house arrest. The window washing sems to mean that the house needs to be "cleaned up" to be ready for his house arrest. Hogan is concerned that his presence might attract the media and this is supposed to be a secret.

The entire family is astoundingly dumb. Someone said there is an announcement before each call that the call is being recorded. Right then wouldn't you censor yourself and speak to your lawyer about the privacy of these calls? Why would you hand your head on a platter for the civil trial? Hogan should have been sheltering assets like a wildman as soon as this hit. Ooops, too late, they probably didn't think about that.

those jail calls will eat hogan alive in the civil trial, they arent very smart people.......he's tried to scramble his money around but the grazianos attorneys are one step ahead....its sad, sorta, but the hogans will be pennyless in the end.

How are these recordings getting leaked to the press? Who is doing it and is it even legal to do so?
Might be a big payday suing the jail and may not be admissible in court. Dont know for sure just speculating.

yeah, JK is right. I got the impression it came from hogan too. bubba's made reference to it several times but this would be a fun SOTBA question since some people don't know it

Might be a big payday suing the jail and may not be admissible in court. Dont know for sure just speculating. There is zero expectation of privacy while incarcerated. That includes on the telephones. It is common knowledge that all phone calls are recorded, and if you listen to this clip about every minute there is an announcement saying that the call is being recorded. Because there is no expectation of privacy and prisoners are made aware that the phone conversations are being recorded, the calls are subject to "Freedom of Information" requests. That suit would be thrown out quickly. I guess as seems to be par for the course, the Hogans didn't feel the rules would apply to them. :dontknow:

You also know that mobsters and gang members still run their oprations while in jail so this intrusion is justifiable. They also use coded language, so for Hogan to switch to camouflage speak thinking this is going to fly, after he knows his previous calls were released, it truly exposes him as a total moron.

Because its his best friend and what is he supposed to do ... make it worse for them?

He is a radio host
We are the audience

He does not have to talk bad or further publicize a negative in his best friends life ... all he owes listeners is 4 hrs of good radio & he obviously does that without kicking his best friend while done

Hulk: "Well, I don't know what type of person John was. Or what he did to get himself in this situation. I know he was pretty aggressive and yelled at people and do stuff. And for some reason God laid some heavy shit on that kid. I don't know what he was into."

Nick: "He was a negative person.

Hulk: "He was what?"

Nick: "He was a negative person. Will you work on that Real-Ality deal?"

Hulk: "Yep"

Nick: "Get that lined up so the minute I walk out...wherever I walk out of it's there...boom."

Hulk: "Can you do it while you're on probation?"

Nick: "Of course."

Hulk: "Do you want to do it with Pink Sneakers or someone else?"

Nick: "I want to do it where I'll make the most money."
