But in relation to the main thread topic, I can recall a Mike Tyson fight in the late 80's when the National Anthem is playing he is bouncing around the ring and shadow boxing like crazy the whole time. So if you counted total audience around the globe IndyCar pulls bigger numbers. Especially since Europe gets treated to a double header with the Monaco GP at 2pm GMT and the Indy 500 on at prime time.

3. How many people attended the Coca-Cola 600 175,000, or Daytona 185,000? Compare that to the 325,000-350,000 that made it to Indy this year. Man that is almost double Daytona. You would think Nascar's crown Jewel would have better attendance.
